The Cavs had had several meaningful wins this year. November 26th they beat the Wizards by 26 in a revenge game after losing to them by 13 a week earlier. December 4th they won in Madison Square Garden on Primetime TV. December 5th they went to Toronto and dominated them by 14 after losing to them by 17 a week prior. December 9th they hosted the Raptors again and were trailing from start to finish in what was a big revenge game for Toronto. The Cavs pulled out a big 4th quarter comeback and won in the end.
The Thunder meanwhile, have yet to have 1 meaningful game all season. They havn’t had any primetime games and havn’t beat any powerhouse teams as of yet. This will be OKC’s chance to get back on the radar. OKC has one of the best homecourt advantages in the NBA and have now been at home for 4 straight days. The Cavs have had three straight road games before travelling home for 1 game, now back on the road to OKC. OKC will be the more rested, and more determined team tonight.

They may win and cover but the refs working this game will make you GROAN
OKC -2.5 CLE -- Home Team ATS 0-4.5pt favorite Eli Roe -- 2-4 this year, 3-8 last year Joey Crawford -- 0-1 this year, 6-15 last year Leon Wood -- 3-3 this year, 5-13 last year

I agree refs aren't good homer refs but these 3 are a combined 19-11 ATS on OKC games and a combined 18-11 ATS in Cleveland games. Don't think it will come to matter tonight

lc if lbj is a no go that might mess up this game. i hate this crap.
Normally yes, veteran teams the first game without their star player is usually a great bet. But there are two reasons why. First, everyone else on the team steps up bigtime to make up for his loss. Second, the opposing team goes in "relax" mode thinking it will be an easy win.
Even if LBJ is declared out, Thunder won't go in relax mode because they are taking these next few weeks as must-win games. Similar reasons to why I won't be on the Browns this weekend with Manziel starting. Bengals won't be in relax mode this late in the season.

Lebron out can actually be a bad thing for this play. I'm on OKC as well for a large amount but my legs are shaking. If LBJ is really out, why has the line moved only 2 points? I have OKC-3 as you, and I feel like this is not the right play. What do you say LC?

See post #14 but 2 points is a lot for one player. I know it's LBJ but they still have Kyrie, Love and other capable players. What do you think the line should be?

Meant to say see post #15. Also it's only moved 2 points because Lebron is still questionable. If he's listed out it'll go up again

Yeah I read it after I already posted. I think the line should be more like 5.5-6 with LBJ out. He's everything for this team, as he always is. With all do respect, Kyrie and Love shouldn't get only 4.5 points against a hungry KD and RW team.
This looks quite iffy to me. Also, If LBJ is questionable, then the line is questionable too? I mean, they put it in the middle for what ever will be?

Correct you answered your own question. LBJ is not out, so the line can't reflect him being out. He is just questionable
