I'm sure this line raised a few eyebrows. Game 1 and Game 2 both opened up at around 2, Cleveland is the favorite to win the series and they're just coming off a 30 point molestation of Washington. How are you going to open the line up at 5, Vegas? Especially since you know that the public is going to be all the Cavs with that line?
Because, my friends, the Wiz got this in the bag.
There's no way in hell that Cleveland is going to sweep them like they did to last year's injury-riddled squad. Essentially that's what will happen if the Cavs win Game 3. You look back to that fantastic playoff series in 2006, their games in this past regular season and Game 1 of this series and you know there's no way this is going to be over that quick.
Washington gave Cleveland all they could handle in Game 1, and basically gave away Game 2. Does that worry me? Not one bit. If anything, it reassures me that the emotional Wizards are going to be pumped to be back in the surely-to-be raucous Verizon Center. They're all going to be ready: Agent Zero, Butler, Jamison, even Lebron's archnemesis and Al-Qaeda-imposter Deshawn Stevenson. Add onto that the fact that hiphop legend Soulja Boy may be present to bestown his Midas touch upon the Wizards and you know the Cavs will be trouble. Washington's got this, though Game 4 may be another story.
Line's down to -4.5 at some places, take that.

I don't want any credit for this win; rather, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the real person responsible for all of this: Soulja Boy. Without the presence of the honorable Mr. Boy, none of this would be possible. In fact, I didn't even handicap this game. After I found out the hiphop legend was going to be there at courtside, I decided to take the Wizards at any price imaginable.
But speaking of the game, I'm going to be honest. I really didn't see this as a 36 point Washington win. That is just ridiculous. Because I was fully expecting them to win by at 50 and I'm absolutely fucking furious things didn't work out. I don't even want to bet on sports any more if bullshit like this keeps happening. But I gotta remember this is not a sprint, it's a marathon. Just let it come, let it come.
But I guess I can accept this.
5-0 in the NBA Playoffs, 6 wins in a row and 32 winning days in the past 36 days.
To paraphrase the words of the future NFL Hall of Famer Freddie "FredEx" Mitchell: "I'd like to thank my handicapping for being so great".

I would like to say something.

Haven't had access to the internet or cable since last Friday because I just moved so I had no idea about the playoff results until today, but I'm very glad to see my prediction worked out like a charm.
Wonder how much Cleveland's gonna be laying for Game 5...
