I know Brand is a good, but I would much rather have Marion and Beasley.

It wouldn't make sense for the Clippers to have Marion, Beasley and Thorton. Thorton would be coming off the bench. We expect big things from him. Having those 2 would stunt his growth.

But the only reason this trade would please me is they get to kick MObley off the team. He's god awful at $8 mil per year.

Toronto wouldn't be that dumb. They would probably want Maggette involved in that deal. I'd still do it if I were the CLips. They need to get rid of Maggie.

toughness and heart?  Was that a joke? He has absolutely no heart, and tough?  Are you looking at the same player? Kaman is a good player, but he has no heart or brain.

i heard on the radio earlier in LA that this trade should go down and clipps are possibly looking at westbrook from UCLA

I wouldnt say a steal at the 7th spot.  The 6 players taken ahead of him are better players/talents than Eric Gordon.  Gordon is very good no doubt, but I see him as more of a Ben Gordon type player in the NBA.

People keep saying that like Ben Gordon is bad or something. I guess dropping 20 a game and shooting better then 40% from 3 isn't good enough now a days. As for Eric Gordon, I actually think hes going to be the 2nd best player coming out of this draft behind OJ Mayo. He has great range, and really didn't get to open up in a defensive slow grind it out game like Indiana basketball is. Think it was a good pick for the Clippers and without all the injuries the Clippers would have probably been in that playoff mix last year. I'm looking forward to seeing their total wins number for next year as well hoping it is pretty low.
