Did you watch the 1st 5 minutes of the game???? Unreal with the shooting %....here's the thing rook....shooting %'s are based off 48 minutes. And probably not based on the Rockets playing a B2B with their nemisis GSW the night before after a free for all shoot out.. No Harden tonight either and everyone should've known he was questionable given the late night play and time to put into looking over this game. Last play of the night at 10:30 and the line jumped (o/u) a full pt in the last 6 minutes before game time to 208.5 and the spread went from 10.5 to 11.....(public??? anyone????)...

Now the 1st quarter was crazy and I would've bet my house, car, dog AND wife on the over AT THAT POINT....but that point was 5 minutes into a 48 minute game...in which Houston got dog tired on their B2B and running lights out in the 1st quarter. The commentator in the 1st qtr said "once Houston goes to their bench, I think the Clippers will shut them down because the Clippers bench is as good as the starters on Houston without Harden"....

This game was close because the 1st quarter was retarded. The rest of the game played out exactly the way it was meant to.

they went ice cold in second quarter and then the game slowed down in second half by the refs. clips also quit playing with about 2mins on the clock. Dont know about being fixed but it was pretty shitty thing for people that were backing the Clips spread.

That's about it.  The Clippers let their 2nd and 3rd strings fill in most of the game, Harden was out therefore the Rockets didn't have their scoring capacity ---> UNDER.

It was apparent after the second quarter when the pace had been slowed and the lucky shots weren't hitting that the under was sure.

If anything, from watching the game it seemed to me that the refs were doing more to raise points on the board.  Houston just couldn't answer and the Clipper's backups weren't shooting that well tonight.

No fix.  Just a game where the stars got to breathe/rest for a bit.  Hope it was a warmup for a blowout tomorrow against the Lakers.

I'm happy tonight.

I had Clippers -11 at game time, I lost. After the game took a look again on the game I saw that I was wrong. To give up 11 points to a team with high potential going playoff are too much.

When you lose you need to retake a look why did yoy take that team to get a lesson for capping next game, not to cry for the fix game.

Grow up or just quit gamble because you're going no where but just make bookies get rich and you'll cry again tomorrow.

i get a kick out of stupid f.ucks like this that lose their game by a half a point and then makes a stupid thread about 24 multi millionaries all conspiring together to make a game lose by the hook.. yes idiot the script called for a last second shot to go in and out and you lost your 33 dollar bet..

Its too suspicious:

1. With game well in hand then the team winning pulls up smack on the number.

2. First half explosion of points. Game on par for a 240 total then the brakes get slammed.

Not all games are fixed. I had the over in the Portland-New Orleans game earlier in the night. No fix, just a good old fashion behind kicking and bad choice on my behalf.

The Clippers game was fixed for your life. Best games for the books to hunt their prey is when a key player is out (like Harden) and the average gambler is indecisive and tempted to play the Clippers LARGE because harden is out.

There were a lot of blind bets and lazy money on the Clippers last night because of Harden's absence.

I have been caught too many times betting on Team A playing Team B without a key player then Team B "mysteriously" covering !!!!

NBA Basketball is a mess.

Its common practice to either bet on a team with a star player out or stay away all together because of these kind of games.

The under was the play here. With no Harden, you think Houston can actually put up a huge score? Everytime they do, harden is on 30+.

And clippers always go under on these big totals. The clippers are coached to win and thats all. They bench their whole team always when they have a big lead. Also.. you dont think clippers game plan was exactly this? They are playing a huge TV game the following day. I can guarantee you (particularly when they knew harden was out) that they would destroy houston. Gameplan - Go as hard and fast as possible at the start. lock it away by halftime.. and cruise to the finish line. This allowed them to bench the whole team, play slow to conserve energy, no injury risks and no long faught game and no OT. now they are good to go tomorrow

Was the side more fixed than the total?

74 points in the first quarter and only a measly 128 in the next 3. I am not surprised it happened but surprised no one is talking about it.

the clips didnt even want to play the second half...all they did was go threw the motions.....if  you know anything about bball...you can see it....i always wonder ...if someone up top was making the call on these games.....i noticed this always happen on the second half of the clips and the kings.....

I fell for the trap at halftime..had under 2h but also took Clippers -.5 because I assumed Houston was too easy and was gonna get pounded. Boy was I wrong.

i had under 204.5 +140 before tip-off and won :) that was traditional trap game bruh.. heavy public on over 208.5 and line dropped to 207.5 before tip-off.
