Question

Toronto Raptors -2.0Riding the Raptors&#x27; mini streak of 3 here (4 if you go by ATS) over the Pistons&#x27; 5 game slide not to mention they are only 2-12 on the road. Raptors despite the 5-5 home record are really good at home. In those 5 loses, only one is considered a bad beat (11/10 game against 76ers where they layed a 7-point egg in the 2nd Q). &#xD;&#xA;Charlotte Bobcats &#x2B;9.0Line is rather funky. I think both teams is just about even and if in some turn of luck, I think the Cats can finally get their 8th win here. In their earlier meet in Charlotte, Phoenix got the win 117-110 and you can tell from there that both team pretty much have the same make. IMO, 9 points is a bit too much for an inconsistent Suns team.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Honorable Mentions:Cleveland @ Boston UNDER 193.0 - Boston plays good defense at home. They should be able to clamp down on the rookie Waiters and Varejao on the Post. I see both teams scoring in the low 80&#x27;s.&#xD;&#xA;Utah Jazz &#x2B;3.0 - Since Jazz is a bad road team and only 2-4 ATS on back to back games, I think the line is just right. IMO, Jazz&#x27; takes full advantage of their size against the Pacers here. Should probably win SU.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;BOL.

i liek charlotte, i think their riding confident after hanging with LA (as garbage as LA has been).

raps are on a mini hot streak, with any other team you would ride the streak. it was GS 2 weeks ago.

scared for all the same reasons, raptors have to cool off, they've won three but are still a garbage team. i live in toronto and will not think otherwise. no idea what public perception is, probably the same.....

is charlotte really that good or are the lakers just that bad? i watched the game and charlotte looked good but havent seen much of the suns TBH. i would rather lay +9 with bobcats than the suns. also, dont the suns have one of the worst ATS records? for me it's charlotte or nothing in that game.

I like Toronto as well, they seem to be playing better lately - however Pistons are too. 2 seems like a small # so I may buy into it after I see the ref assignments.Good luck in the Association!

&#xD;&#xA;Charlotte is decent at best. They have tramendously improved on their scoring. LA just doesn&#x27;t play real defense anymore.

Clippers&#x27; second team can probably out score them so really is a coin toss IMO.

[/Quote]yeah. i wasnt questioning my own thought on that, more posing a question but i agree, they&#x27;re decent at best....but like i said, i havent watched the suns too much but i know they stank ATS and are, just like the bobcats, decent at best. but why -9...? i&#x27;d take the cats&#x2B;9 as well..i also agree with the other dude, i like NOH &#x2B;13.5....im tired of seeing LAC cover the spread. public will pound LAC which seems solid for a backdoor on NOH at around 11

as a toronto sports fan i try to stay optimistic about the raps.. however, cant see them going on a 4 game win streak given the team they have. Calderon has been keeping them alive this season, dont see him doing it again tonight. all over pistons +2.5. BOL regardless.

Goodluck fellas. Detroit is struggling themselves so really a toss up if you look at it matchupwise. I gave the Raps the edge because of momentum from the streak and them playing at home.

BOL! Starting to think NOH is what the 76ers were last year with covering the spread, and not getting blown out. I mean they covered versus Memphis, OKC and GS last night. Are the Clips better than those teams? Will have to study NOH&#x27;s BB performances. I find the NBA has been real tough of late. Minimising my plays to only 2-3 per night the way it&#x27;s going.

It&#x27;s just amazing how Charlotte&#x27;s been stuck on 7 wins for the past 2 weeks!  Is it peer pressure that they can&#x27;t get over this hump?   I like Charlotte to cover points but will never buy them ML.  (If they are favorites, I actually fade...)  The team is very good but they lack veteran leadership.

I think Raptors are not as bad as they think.  This blue collar team is very underrated.  Need to work on defense and rebounding.  They got scoring power.

I think the cats are &#x2B;9 (extremely high against a mediocre Suns team) simply due to the idea of a letdown after playing Lakers last night.&#xD;&#xA;all teams, especially young teams, get up to play Lakers and make a name for themselves. Might come out and go through the motions in the 1Q vs. Suns&#xD;&#xA;Regardless, i&#x27;ll take the &#x2B;9 and chance my winnings from &#x2B;12.5 last night

Pistons &#x2B;2 all the wayIn first match they got huge advantage in the paint, I can say double advantage, 26 Raps points vs 52 Pistons points in the paint. Raptors are using too much spot up jumpers and when they don&#x27;t fall in, they are in trouble. https://www.hoopdata.com/boxscore.aspx?id=321123008Check the shots of both teams at the rim, 12 shot attempts of Toronto vs 38 of Pistons are huge advantage for away team. Also Toronto miss best inside bigmen, Andrea Bargnani which is huge blow because Pistons really struggle against offensive power forwards.  For me enough reasons to backup away team regardless that home team had good results recently.
