Projected Line for August 27, 2012 (Monday):
NCAA Season 88
4pm Game: JRU-4.5 v MIT+3.5
6pm Game: CSJL-3.5 v UPHSD+2.5
JRU will be on "revenge" here after losing their opener to the Cardinals. With no real point guard for the Mapua squad, they'll have a hard time with the JRU press. Letran is an example of a team with no true point guard and they committed a lot of errors against JRU. I hope we could get an average line here somewhere around 3-5 for JRU. Mapua has cooled down now and will continue to follow this very same cold spell (trend) for a game or two more. JRU should be the play here.
Tough upcoming schedule this week for the Knights, good thing they have Almazan back to help ease the pressure of the hurting K.Alas (Beda on Saturday). I'm not sure what line we'll get here as the linesmaker are a bit confusd as to how to handle the spread for an Altas game. Last game against Benilde, they were made 2.5 point dog for no good reason (CSB is even missing one key contributor going to that game). I'm leaning towards the Knights hoping that the books overestimate this one and overvalue UPHSD. Almazan and Jam Cortez down the block is too much to handle for the two Nigerian imports of the Altas. Kevin Alas cancels out Jet Vidal and you got role players up against role players in which the Knights will be enjoying the advantage.
