Charlotte Bobcats +4
The only thing that worries me here is that with a beefed up front line with Jamison and MoWill making a comeback from injury. What's not to love with the Cavs and a short line like this? Cats won 2 of their last 3 matchups taking a stab at those very few Cavs home defeats. To add, Cats just had one hell of a beat down received from the worst team in the league and Cavs is playing back to back and coming off an OT defeat. Looking for the Cats to keep it close and cover the spread.
Denver Nuggets -6.5 and OVER 208
Big win over the Cavs tonight. With the way this team is playing for their coach, they kinda have a real team vibe now. Washington on the other hand just got a couple more players now giving players like Blatche, Mike Miller and Foye more exposure and freedom with the rock. I feel that this team will fall short and chemistry issue should kick in here with the a couple more players in the mix. Taking the team that's a solid unit right now over the new look Wizards here. I think 6.5 is giving respect to this Wizards team. Howard and Gooden off the bench to provide hustle plus they get to play Al Thorton who is comfortable in both ends of the court. Over looks terrific here even though Denver just played extended minutes tonight. I think fatigue isn't a factor here yet even though they are playing back to back road games. If it was, that means more offense for the home team.
Milwaukee @ Detroit UNDER 189.5
Bucks is a team that the Pistons can handle this season. They are 2-1 against Milwaukee right now. They match well against the Bucks. Rodney and Rip > BJ and Bell. Bogut gets the better of Big Ben and I Jerebko and Prince better than Mbah a Moute and Delfino. Gordon will be out due to suspension and CV will most likely play with a hurting back. Bucks is 3-7 O/U the last 10 and Detroit is 4-6 O/U. The last 3 games between the two averages 185 points.
Orlando Magic -6.0
Dallas' starting lineup looks really promising. Butler really looked good in that 3rd quarter against the Suns. Then again, the Suns never really bothered playing defense and so you can't gauge this new look Mavs. I'm looking at Orlando's continued dominance at home. That's probably about it.
Utah Jazz -5.5
Jazz looks jazzy at this point. It's because Warriors will finally be playing an above .500 team again. The last time they won against such a team at home is way back in 12/28 and that's against Boston (that was the first b2b win for them as well, winning against Phoenix before that). The last time they covered was last 1/11 against the Cavs. They were set as a 5.5 point dog and only lost the game by 3. With the way Jazz are playing right now, I think they roll against this current Warriors team and cover.
Noteworthy:
I kinda like the Spurs-3 against the 76ers with AI. It's kinda square but hey, the Cancer will just make them worse (76ers even managed to beat the Celts without AI so that should say a lot off this team sans AI). Bulls -2.5 looks easy and so did Miami -2.5 @ Philly the other day. Wolves just on a slide right now and the Bulls ain't feeling Noah's absence (gotta give it up to Taj Gibson for filling it nicely). Atl@Pho UNDER 212 looks nice with the recent under trend going-on on Suns game. Both teams are 12-12 o/u on their home-road matchup with the most recent game between them ending at 203 which is 13 points below the closing line.
