15-24-1 for the week. Wasn't able to post for Saturday game because I spilled coke on my laptop and can't get any browser working on my desktop. LOL. Now, I gotta make up for some cash to get a new mac. Anyway, That's 2-1 winning week, can't win them all (73-56-1 total). Let's start crunching Sunday games. As always, leave something for everyone to think about.
Researched it myself and dogs are covering 60% of the games while faves are winning SU 63% of the time. Now you have the Kings who's listed a 5.5-point home dog who just got off a 6-game losing hole with an unconvincing win against Jersey. Hornets on the other hand look to open a 4 game road trip in Sacramento. Hornets are still pushing for the best record to start the season contending with the Spurs who just went 11-1 couple of hours ago. Before you go on and take the hornets right away remember that dogs are hitting at an alarming rate (60%), and Sacramento has always played well against the Hornets (Sacramento has covered 9 of their last 10 matchups). New Orleans isn't a team that will blow you out. As long as you can score baskets on the other end, you can expect a close contest from start to finish but definitely won't notice that the Hornets is actually taking control of the game's pace.
The Kings are attrocious and until they figure out a.) how to rotate their guys (Jason Thompson on the 3 position? WTF?) b.) do something with their spare bigs (they have a conjestion in the 4th and 5th spot and need someone useful in 2 and 3) and c.) remind Tyreke that he is a Point Guard then winning won't be to often for this club. I'm not too sold backing the league's worst ATS team (Clippers are even better than them ATS wise) but given 5.5 points against a team who dominates the pace of the game and keeps the game close? I think I'll take a shot at that Sacramento Kings +5.5.
Leaning on: LAL-11.5 LAL UNDER 217.5
What are your thoughts fellas?

CMM, not sure if you can take the Kings here . . .
They have yet to establish a consistent starting lineup nor rotation. I see the Hornets rolling here.
kogepan
I know, they're one hell of a mess here but I'm banking on the spread to get them across. Hornets will control the pace here and keep it low. I see them winning by only 3-4 points here.

Hornets at -4.5? WTF isn't that a gimme. Something is fishy. If anything I might tease the game. But that is more than enough for the Hornets to cover...

I know. The trade went down with MY Toronto Raptors. Still not enough for me to say it should be this low. Regardless, I'll take it. Jack isn't a bad point guard, he shoots a lot... but is able to play within a good system. Something Toronto does not have.
