Reminder, yet again - stay focused on the goal! Without goals,we are playing for the sake of playing. I'm eyeing up a batch of new camping gear and that simple goal keeps me from making stupid bets. I could throw down 4 tonight (see upcoming parlay), but if I missed, I'd decimate my bankroll. We hear it all the time, this is a marthon, not a sprint.
Today's play;clippers @ Pelicans -1.5 (1.25u, -110)
Both teams coming in on a b2b. I like to take home teams in those scenarios as that crowd can be all the difference. The clippers also had a pretty tough, down to the wire loss (rule - bet against teams coming off emotional games, especially on b2b with travel). I'm loving that the pelicans are 9-2, yup 9-2 at home and the clippers have proven to be a middling road team so far (6-6). When these teams played last, neither played particularily well, but Jrue Holiday's 2-15 stands out and I'm looking at him in particular to be the difference maker.
Fun parlay; Pelicans -2, Wizards -2, timberwolves money line, okc/det under 220.
