Can’t be great. Whereas Lakers overachieved and surprised many by making it this far into the playoffs, Celtics were the favorites to return to the Finals and win it. They barely got by a mediocre Philly squad with an injured Embid.
At this point there’s no way they have any faith left in Schmo Mozz and their confidence has to be at an all time playoff low. Btw - Schmo Mozz must have zero confidence in his ability to outcoach Spoel, who must feel like a cat pawing at an injured mouse in this obscenely lopsided chess match. Celts have shown zero resilience or spine in this series — and I just don’t see how they get up for this game.
On the other side you have a team brimming with confidence who can taste the finals (where they’ll lose to the superior nuggets) but there’s no way they want to go back to beantown for a game 5. They will have the desire and will to lock this thing up tonight.

Why are so many Heat backers saying this? As if Boston's TD Garden is some scary place? Incredibly, the Celtics are now under .500 over their last 23 home playoff games, and the Heat themselves now own TD Garden. Of course the Heat don't want to return to Boston for a fifth game, but they're not scared of the possibility either.

It’s not whether it’s a scary place or not, but going back to Boston for a game five means anything can happen that game. One Jimmy Butler rolled ankle and they can be the first team ever to come back from a 3-0 deficit. A team with veterans like Lowry, K-LOVE, Butler and as well coached as they are with Spoelstra are going to do everything in their power to win this game.

Personally I think the line is way off at -1.5. Odds makers giving far too much credit to the C's (or maybe trying to give hope to the Boston bettors). The Celtics have clearly check out and you see it in their demeanor. Miami will blow them out tonight.

Very legit point. I feel your caution and heed it — the more i’ve thought about it, the more i think this game will be close, similar to Lakers/Nugs last night. I don’t see either side blowing out the other, but in a closely contested game - who do you want in the huddle with 2 minutes left? Spoelstra and Jimmy Buckets or Joe Schmo and Tatum (who at this point can’t really be trusted)

Did you listen to the post game pressers after last game. Jalen Brown basically said we have no answers. Mazulla admits he does not have his team ready to play. Does not bode well for Celtics tonight IMO.

Yessir. Also, a few weeks back Marcus Smart referred to their offense as "random." And it's evident they haven't addressed that in either of the last two series. It's possible Celtic's push it to game five on sheer will and depth/talent -- since there's no way their coach can get them there on his own -- but all signs certainly point to Miami ending things tonight.
