Check this out, Ray Allen had 57 made 3's and 56 made 3's throughout the playoffs, Reggie had 58 or 59 and Dennis Scott had 58 or 59, that would be the record for made 3's.
The MVP Curry, just 2 games into the conference finals has 57, if the Warriors sweep the Rockets and sweep in the finals to win in as few games as possible which is not likely, but if they did Curry on pace to destroy the record by 27 made 3's.
And if they lose 2 or 3 games he might beat the record by 40 or more made 3's.
Wow, the guy is a machine, your witnessing one of the great, great players to ever play and one of the great seasons and playoff runs in history.............................

Curry is also shooting 3 pointers at a ridiculous rate. It's 3 or a layup for him. Great shooter but also easily takes more shots than anyone. He's that good so does that excuse it? Maybe. But imagine if Ray Allen was told you can shoot 10 3s a game when he was with the celtics.

But that's what makes Curry so special. He has the freedom to pull up and shoot from anywhere because he has proved that he can consistently make those shots. An open 3 for Curry is literally a lay up(in the playoffs he shoots over 86% on open 3's) but he can easily make contested ones too.
Ray Allen, Reggie, etc were much more limited.. mostly catch and shoot, running around screens to get good looks kind of shooters,, those guys could never make the shots Curry is making right now. On the other hand the shots those guys were taking are LAYUPS for Curry.. It's not that they didn't shoot more, it's that they COULDN'T shoot more.
For example Kyle Korver is also a spectacular shooter and you think the Hawks don't want him taking 10 3's per game?? Hell yeah they do but they can't because he's much easier to guard.

I agree with the claw. from a three point shooting perspectives there are definitely better 3 point shooters. bird however was only 37 percent for his career. Curry is definitely better at other aspects of the game that must pure 3 point shooters

The writer backs it up with stats and being clutch in post season what has Curry ever won ? what's so hard to understand ? does anyone play defense in the NBA in the regular season ?
Curry's a loser i had Golden state a game this season vs Chicago with a 7 point lead and a minute and a half and this idiot was still jacking up 3's not using the shot clock
The Golden state up by 3 18 seconds left shot clock off Golden state in the bonus and with the ball
Curry with the ball instead of dribbling and getting intentionally fouled he gives up the dribble get traped and throws the ball up for grabs Chicago wins on the road at golden state a game they had no buisness winning
Curry is a f up loser watch

Ha !!! That article is about players either retired or well vin the league for years, those players can be judged on their performances.
He did not include Curry because he is only 6 years in the league, he's to young to judge where he stands yet.
OK, Ray Allen is the best based on longevity, check this out......................Curry's worst season is 42.4% from 3 pt land.
Allen had only 4 of 18 seasons better than Curry's worst season.
Curry's ave of 44%, Allen had just 2 single seasons in 18 years of trying better than Curry's overall ave of 6 seasons.
At this point, Curry is a better 3 pt shooter than Allen, and Curry can create a 3 pt shot off the dribble which Allen could not, he needed to come off screens.
yea Curry can create allright, great observation
