I read all your comments. Thanks for the support to those who offered it.
If Vegas wants to set it lines based on multiple offensive rebounds and turnovers on inbounds plays, they can go right ahead. I will have what I need in the long run.
Gonna take a break
Maybe for the rest of the year. Can't be on this site right now.
To watch this Knicks game, my team, just breeze to another win in the game I wanted to write up but got fancy with the fuc kface Pistons and bucks is too much.
Too many people lost too much money in the worst way possible.
Goodbye and thanks.
you do really need to leave and stop loosing people money
its pathetic i read it was some ones biggest sports bet of their life just because you had a ridiculously long and irrelevant write up and people think you're good for some reason just because you can form a paragraph of useless information.
says a lot about the whole community on covers and the fact you have such a big following just shows the huge majority of covers are just plain losers and everyone who posts in your threads are clearly fade worthy
why you continue to bet on games where teams have no motivation to win and just want their paycheck is beyond me
you would have been a rich man just laying the points with the spurs these last few weeks
but you choose to lead people in the direction of the knicks, lakers, kings, pistons game
this whole thing needed to stop and im glad it finally did

I don't know why there is so much drama around here. I mean the guy lost by a not by a landslide. When you lose by a moose it's an indication that you were on the right side but "shit happened" Don't lose too much sleep over it.
were u watching the same game as me? Detroit never had a sustainable lead

Scal, I really hope you read this. There is actually a lot we can learn here. First off, the posters who say we were lucky to be in a situation where we could cover are 100% right. If you recall, after this Pistons team lost to the Sixers I went on a diatribe about shame, and how this team has no shame. I mentioned that any other team in their situation would have reacted differently, would have at least fought. What I'm trying to say here is that from a capping standpoint this team is an anomaly. Just like there are human beings out there that are capable of doing things (or responding in a way) that most human beings might never understand, there are also teams and team dynamics that are equally unpredictable. The first sign (that these guys, as a group, are not wired like other teams) should have been when they laid an egg before the bad-boys, in a game against the NBA champs no less. These guys flat out quit, and it wasn't cause they were tanking. It was because they didn't care.
Next, their coach calls them out before the sixers game (a game with huge implications, as far as shame and ignominy) and they still don't respond. Not an ounce of effort or fight. Who does that? It is (and was to me at the time) beyond comprehension. These guys are not the Knicks or the Lakers, in that they don't have a giant media market that keeps tabs on their every move and holds them accountable (however much they can) for their performances. Can you, for instance, imagine if the current Knicks or Lakers had laid an egg in front of former greats and then backed that up by losing to the worst team in the league in a historic game? Of course not. But that's exactly what these guys did, which meant that no low was too low for them and that they are destined to disappoint. A humbling experience to say the least. For the Pistons forced us to confront the very limits of what we as cappers, and human beings, can imagine others to be capable (or incapable) of. Wishing you the best, friend. And we will get the next one!

STFU YOU DUMB CLOWNS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Scal is without question one of the best cappers here. If you can't see that, then your at the poker table looking for the sucker.........and it's you. The problem is, if your not smart enough to realize this, my words are wasted. You just don't get it. Stop gambling, ask your mom for more money and fall asleep in your kiddie pool with your bottle of Colt 45.

one kyle singler turnover doesn't happen and we are all golden. ill gladly eat what I lost tonight because I'm so glad all the people up in arms talking nonsense to you also came down with us. they don't deserve to win a penny off your writeups of they can't accept a few bumps after a season of cruising.

That's what I was trying to tell people that the Piston have no heart and no shame. You either fade them or stay away for the rest of season. The moose really hurts for those that picked them but we have to admit that Josh Smith made a bunch of shots he never makes and the Pistons where really lucky to even be in position to cover.

Thanks, Scalabrine for all your insight. Don't let these trolls discourage you. In fact, that took a lot of balls to spend that time to write an in-depth analysis knowing that nothing is guaranteed and you may get flamed for it. Cheers to you mate ??

I know, but sometimes how you say things affects how people take things. Betting is very strange in that there are so many emotions and thoughts associated with it and we only realize what those are in hindsight. Imagine, I lost not once but twice betting on this terrible team why? Because I thought I understood the Pistons better than they understand themselves. Because I wanted to show that I know a thing or two about human psychology. Because I wanted to be like Scal (I admire the heck out of the guy), and turn crap into gold. And I wanted to be like Scal (instead of doing my own thing, which has worked for me) because deep down I'm looking for a father figure, a mentor (cause my own father was never their for me). And why do I want all that, because it makes me feel loved and worthy. So you see, it's not just about putting down a bet on a bad team. There is a lot more going on behind the scenes. As cappers we need to be aware of our own motivations (our fears, desires and weaknesses) otherwise this game chew us up and spit us out.

Hands down, unequivocally worst post of the year.
He has made me so much more money than lost it is not even funny. Where were you for all the winners? Just waiting until a loss came to flame I suppose.
Anyone who doesn't build losses into their plan is new to the game or a fool. Both are destined to lose all of their money.
Everyone's "after the fact" berating and "I told you so's" (even though they never said anything before hand) shows immaturity, weakness, and incapability of logic past that of a rock.

Yeah not all in. But a 50% bankroll bet. Yeah don't give me I know bad bankroll management. But you don't blame it on Scal. I chose to tail him. It's no ones fault besides mine and the players who can't inbound the ball lol

To be honest, laying that many points with Detroit (home or away) is risky, even against another mediocre team in Milwaukee. Should've at least took the moneyline or bought down 1-2 points. Even then, no value in that match up whatsoever when there were other games on the board. Shame but it's gambling I guess.
