Even though I had a terrible day all around yesterday, I still have a plus record in college and pro hoops. That said, I see so many post on here and other capping sites with the notorious post (Who are the top cappers?) Now, I am not saying I am the best or great in any way at all. However, I do get a little taken back when I don't even get a mention at all... What puzzles me even more is the guys who do get props are barely over 500. Don't get me wrong, I love the game and interacting with all of you but sometimes I wonder why I bother taking so much time out each day to post my info... Now that I said my peace, on to today's card.
------------------------------------------------ F.-T.-W. *************************************** Grizzlies @ Raptors Grizzlies record (20-15, 6-10 away), Raptors record (11-24, 5-11 home). Toronto is 20-14-1 ATS, Memphis is 17-18-0. Raptors are 3-0 ATS in their Last 3 Games. Toronto is 16-11-1 as under dogs this season. Raptors are also 6-3 when Dogs of 1-5 pts. I am fully aware that A. Bargnani is out with that calf injury... Kleiza has been playing real well as of late and put up 21 points to put away the Hornets 95-84 on Wednesday night. Amir Johnson should get mention stepping up in Bargnani's absence as well as he finished with seven points, seven boards, four assists, two steals, and tied a season-high with FIVE blocks in that same game. DeMar DeRozan will look to keep up in the scoring dept. with star Rudy Gay as I expect them both to get at least 20 ppg. Amir Johnson, James Johnson & Ed Davis provide so much size and depth to this roster and will look to continue to make key rebounds and blocks to limit the Grizzlies scoring tonight. Defense, three pointers & ball control from Calderon will keep the Raptors in the game. Projected Score: Memphis 95 Toronto 94 Dezzy's Selection: Toronto Raptors +3.5
Nets @ Celtics Nets record (11-25, 8-12 away) Celtics record (17-17, 12-8 home). I am throwing the ATS records out the window for this one as they do favor the Nets slightly. Going mostly with Gut on this one as I expect complete domination from Boston tonight. Rondo is motivated and notched his third triple-double of the season Wednesday with 15 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Paul Pierce will be the player of the game and will look to take advantage of the mismatch. Kevin Garnett looks to have his mind on right now and will look to contain Lopez to under 20 points. Boston may not put up a ton of points but look for them to lead in most categories tonight (FG%, 3PT% (Ray Ray), Defensive Rebounds & less turnovers. Projected Score: New Jersey 89 Boston 99 Dezzy's Selection: Boston Celtics -6.5
Bobcats @ Spurs Bobcats record (4-29, 2-17 away) Spurs record (24-11, 13-2 home) San Antonio is 20-14-1 Overall ATS, Charlotte 11-22-0. Bobcats are just 3-5 when Dog's of 12.5-16.5 pts, Spurs are 1-0. Tony Parker will have his way with the young, inexperienced Charlotte team. The Bobcats have dropped three straight and 19 of 20, falling 109-94 at Detroit on Wednesday. They also lost Bismack Biyombo who was playing tremendous D and grabbing a good amount of boards. Spurs will dominate every single stat and will look to Blow out this already poor Charlotte defense. Projected Score: Charlotte 87 San Antonio 106 Dezzy's Selection: San Antonio Spurs -14.5 *************************************** Friday ------------------------------------------------ B.O.L.

We post on this forum because we want to help people become better sports handicappers. If you're posting on here to win a popularity contest, then you're doing it for the wrong reasons. Maybe start your threads with all capital letters, use poor grammar and insert a gratuitous amount of emoticons.. then it won't matter if you win or lose, you'll become real popular in a hurry.

babyboy_23, Thanks for the kind words! Hope you hit em all tonight!
si1ly-How are you making people become better sports handicappers when you providing them with picks and the analysis?
To me, most of your followers become tailors’ after all you are not teaching them how to cap you are giving them the results after you do all the capping homework yourself.

I can't speak for the people that read my threads, but I always thought that providing analysis with my plays helped people understand how to derive a logically sound bet. It's not that I'm trying to do the work for people, I post the information I collected that influenced me to make that play. People can do whatever they want with the play and/or the information. Handicapping isn't just about doing the research and analyzing the numbers.. it's about understanding why you should do this. Hopefully my threads help to explain the "why" to others.
Why do you post on here? To get more reads than the next guy?

cashinsports-Thank you, I consider you one of the better cappers myself! I guess I am just having one of those off the court moments when everything just doesn't seem like it's going right in life... Every one is entitled to a melt down every once in a while right? Please say yes lol

I post because I like to help others try and win.
I love to interact with fans/cappers that know the game and share information on sports and what makes or doesn't make a play.
I love competing and being good at something makes you feel good.
Who knows if your really good at something one day there may be a brighter future for you somewhere else making a living doing something you love.
Like I said.. the post today may have been an emotion from an off the court feeling or issue.
So I appologize if I came off wrong, I am here to try and win and help others to do so as well.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts si1ly!

Mcmanus-Yea I agree and I was being very curtious Bobcats saying that they will only lose by 19. This game could get out of hand early and maybe even get replaced by another sporting event that may be more interesting such as golf lol.
Thank you 215Hustler, those are all valid points you made.
Keep killing it on the DL yourself and only good will come your way brother! I am a huge fan of real-ness! Keep on hustling and G/L to you going forward!

If I can catch that Miami game back at 198 or higher, I will be on it, too. By the time I got to my book today, it was sitting at 197 (which misses my variance cut off). GL today!
