Yeah, nice argument. I guess Jordan was 'clutch' against the Detroit Pistons.
I mean the Pistons were back 2 back champions of the league and they did implement the Jordan rules just to stop MJ. He also took on Detroit before and during Pippen's early years. I'd say MJ got over the hump with the Pistons in sweeping them on the way to his first NBA title. I'd call that clutch yes.

(6) Finals (6) rings I guess he figured it out......That was a different kind of basketball the Pistons played....If Lebron would of went up against that team he would of been crying.....Jordan overcame and adapted his game.....They are (2) way different players, but Jordan never went scoreless for (8) minutes at the end of a Finals game...More then likely Lebron will be (2-4) in the finals after these finals....If he loses in this years finals and Ray Allen misses a bail out shot he would be (1-5) in the finals.....
Jordan (6-0) in the finals........and as Jordan and Pippen say...What the hell is a game (7) .......once Jordan got it he got it....There was no stopping him....Lebron seems to still be learning and losing.....
East has been a cakewalk for years.......LeBron is very Lucky he doesn't play in the West throughout his career.....
Spot on! Nicely done

Richig, what's in that pipe you are smoking in that avatar? It's obviously skewing your thought processing. What you fail to see is that in the FINALS JORDAN showed up big in the end of games. he didn't take fade away 3s. He drove to the whole or posted up. Lebron is a good player but if he loses these finals which I feel he will, that will make him 2 out of 6? This game was there for the taking and he chose to leave it on the table. You say he practically won a finals game by himself, I say, his shot choice in the end cost them the game. You NEVER saw Jordan get a bad look at a game winner. He got to whatever spot he wanted to get to.

No one disagrees that Lebron is a great player and puts up great stats.....but to many times when it's time for him to just take over and dominate the game he fails to do so........If your rooting against him or his team you love when he starts settling for jump shots....he will be so dominate going inside, just unstoppable then for some unknown reason he'll start shooting jumpers....He's done this throughout his career...Just like he did late in game (1) and overtime tonight....

mj vs lbj can never be a contest because of a single but nost important fact: it is not about lbj not making that 3 pointer. it is not about a bad decision taking it at all instead of easier way to score. dumb he is not. it is about lbj wanting to take that shot and avoiding winning. the alibis were all there and well produced as 44 points will remembered as the great effort. he is a slave of nba and vegas. always been. always will be.
mj was not. mj wanted to win every game. he never surrendered. he paid dearly for it and still came back and did it again.
that is all. so any comparison is like comparing between the real life character and the cartoon. the cartoon character can never really be a better than the real because cartoon character is exactly that - cartoon character.

Didn't magic usually go to the hole get fouled, score or both with seconds on the clock? Why are all there players taking horrible shots with the clock winding down. And I needed GS to win

It's not so much the killer instinct as it is the clutch gene. Lebron panicks too much and doesn't have enough faith in his shooting. Just look at game he won against Chicago. People forget in the the last few minutes he had 3 TOs in the lst few minutes in which he basically panicked and forced something that wasn't there. That would have never happened to Jordan. It is inexcusable w game 1 on the line that Lebron settled for a fall away 3 that had zero chance of going in

The score was tied and the fcker takes that low percentage shot.
Who give a sh*t if he scores 44pts when they lost? he had the game in his hands and he gave it away. Kyrie came up big with that block and he chose that shot?
Winning isn't as important, he had to make it look good.
Fckin mental midget put himself first, before his team and his city.

this is sumthing fictional, made up from sumones imagination that you repeated to try and make yourself sound cool or knowledgable about sports...you failed
please direct me to any piece of verifiable, scientific concrete evidence of anything that supports the existence of such a "gene" or biologically proven trait...

"James has taken 10 go-ahead shots in the final five seconds of the fourth quarter or overtime in the playoffs — and made six. Jordan was just 5/11 in the same situation in his postseason career."
dude, one thing you MUST learn at covers is to never, ever, ever let the facts get in the way of a good story or an outlandish opinion.
its truly amazing wat goes on in this place,it starts out with a criticism of the guys ability to make closing shots in dying moments of important games....you drop this little stat bomb to show there was in fact little difference and immediately the fu.ken doofuses that post after you chime in to change the argument and swing it off onto another tangent..."oh,na wait wait wait, wat about in finals only....wait wait, jordan dominated too much so he didnt get the chance to take game winners....wait wait, check their records in games played on a full moon nite, that'll prove whos really clutch"
any damn thing at all to dis-credit lebron and fit their own pre-conceived notion of him...shift the goal-posts,change the narrative, watever ya gotta do.
nowhere else in any fu.ken sport cud ya find a guy who had such a monstrous, dominant game being criticised for a mistake he made in it...how the fu.k do ya live up to these ridiculous standards??
from my recollection jordan was certainly a better(and absolutely more willing)finisher and closer of games...my perception is that he delivered waaay more often than not...but i do not have the stats so do not know wheter they bear that out or not...he was a legend in his own time and the mythology surrounding his legend has only grown with time..gotta be careful at looking thru rose-tinted glasses regarding players we idolised and had on a pedestal........how about accepting that jordan was the better finisher with lebron close behind as an all around player for now and just let the dudes career play out before making any final assessment??

Because refs wont decide a game by calling a foul on a final second drive to the basket. Didnt you see Lebron drive at the end of the Bulls game and Noah basically take him to the ground but no call? Plus if he drives every single warrior will drop down to guard him hed kick it to a wide open teammate and now wed be having a discussion about him being to passive.

Shut the fck up for once.
You always have to chime in defending Lebron.
He had 24secs to work with and he took a fadeaway 3. You look at his 3pt % for the game.
Why do you think he did that? Do you know the answer? no you wouldn't because it's always unfair on Lebron in your mind.
Delusional.
The only response you'll get from me.

The biggest difference between Jordan, Bryant and Lebron is between the ears.....
Jordan and Bryant had a true killer instinct.....Lebron doesn't..
That was an absolutely horrible shot at the end of regulation tonight.
He didn't drive to the hoop for fear of a turnover.......
This is one of the dumbest things people say in this argument. People just create something like "killer instinct" based off of Kobe and Jordans personalities. Do you think they wanted to win more or something? Or is Lebron just a more willing passer. Kobe doesnt even deserve to be in this conversation right now. Look at his percentage on game winning shots and try to tell me hes "clutch". How anyone could watch that game last night and try to criticize Lebron amazes me. He carried his team the entire game, hit a game tieing 3 when Golden State had all the momentum, and assisted it to Mosgov for the game tieing free throws. He then misses the game winning shot and here comes everyone to talk about how bad he is when it matters most. He single handedily almost beat a far superior team on their home floor. These threads are amazing sometimes.

i await your response,im sure its coming.you just cant help yourself.
no,its not always "unfair on lebron" in my mind...i will however always take the opportunity to respond to irrational, baseless stupidity and views of extreme, radical bias.....wats delusional is a bunch of person.gots continually trying to tear down and belittle one of the best 5 or so players to ever lace em up.....just appreciate the guy while hes here, wats wrong with that??

dumb fu.ks will say any stupid shiiit to support their own pre-conceived notions....whilst completely ignoring facts staring them rite in the face that mite go against wat they want to believe.
facts and results clearly and plainly tell us that kobe was a horrible, inefficient "clutch" player and closer overall....but opinions are simply coloured by romantic personal memories of the few that did go in,against the odds.....the conclusion being"kobe has the "killer instinct" and is way better than lebron in winning time"....comical.
