Can we guess who will be the ref for game 7? If I had to put money on it, then my guess would be Tony Brothers who may be on the whistle for the Sixers vs Celtics game 7 finale. He has yet to make an appearance in this series and as such I have already gathered the info in advance as if he were penciled in for this game. The Celtics are 4-6 SU, 3-6-1 ATS in the last 10 playoff games reffed by Brothers since 2019. I saw an offhand stat from last year but haven't verified it's authenticity that Celtics are 3-13 in the playoffs against Brothers.
Meanwhile the Sixers are just 3-4 SU, 3-3-1 ATS in the last 7 playoffs with Brothers since 2018. Not as large sample size but something to work with. While Celtics have more big game experience playing in some of these game 7s, the past has shown and especially in the last couple games that Celtics are capable of choking at any moment's notice. The 2017-18 Cavs have shown that Celtics could be beat on their floor in a win or go home with a tired and beat up LeBron playing without his sidekick Kevin Love and the weakest Cavs roster during Lebron's second stint with Cavs. The Celtics had grown a bit since then but Tatum's erratic style of play will always be a wildcard here and make or break the Celtics once again.
All signs point to some "brother" love for the city of brotherly love. Sixers +6.5

Brother I get your angle but do you recall the 2017-2018 Celtics roster for the playoffs? You’re acting like Lebron beat a juggernaut team in that game 7 in Boston. Celtics had guys like Semi Ojeleye, Guershon Yabusele and Shane Larkin playing important minutes during that playoff run

I remember Ojeleye, the other 2 never saw many meaningful minutes. Their roster was just as depleted down the stretch as the Cavs but still almost basically the same nucleus as they have now .. remember they had a 3-2 series lead and couldn't get it done at home in game 7. I remember Kyrie being out near the end of regular season that was a big deal but they made it alright without him for a stretch. in hindsight the injuries definitely caught up to them. If Celtics still had Irving and Hayward things might be different. C's do have the experience factor going for them I want to take 76er ML but having trouble pulling the trigger lol

James Harden is 2-10 in his last 12 playoff games with Scott Foster as the lead official. On the other side, the Celtics are 22-4 straight up (18-8 ATS) w/Eric Lewis & 20-7 SU (18-9 ATS) w/Scott Foster since 2019.
Indeed. Foster will stomp the Sixers, and if the Sixers are barely alive and twitching Eric Lewis will finish the stomping the rest

Iike it DK...looking at Nuggets game 1.. .Lakers 1st game at altitude...
I think so too. They have been waiting for this moment since getting beat 4-1 in the bubble. I don't think Lakers will steal back to back to back game 1's

C's 4-1 SUATS in their last 5 game 7's, 3-1 with this group. Won their 3 home games by double digits.. if that means anything lol... But of course they could still completely choke at home like they did that one time... Trying to find some semblance of capping this game but no matter what statistical edge you think you may find, it all comes down to the ref and being on the right side. Good luck and happy Mother's day to all you motherluvers . Don't let this game ruin your mother's day
I think it will be another wild game in this series of swings and misses. Maybe we can get +money live on both sides and call it a day lol
