Do the Suns even deserve to be favoured tonight in Sacramento?

I don't think so.  That 14-3 start they had was a complete mirage and now they've predictably fallen back down to earth.  Let's face it, they're a .500 team.  I like the mojo this young Kings squad has at home.  Fans are slowly returning to Arco Arena as well , giving Sacramento a legitimate home-court advantage, something not seen since the days of C-Webb, Peja, Vlade and Mike Bibby.

It is true that PHX has struggled since the start of the season.....that said, December was a tough month schedule-wise for them and they were without Barbosa for most of the month. Richardson's hand was a factor as well for a couple of weeks. Of course, everyone was healthy for the ass-whooping they received at the hands of Memphis over the weekend, so who knows. I've been a big believer in Sacramento this year, especially at home. But they too are in a tough spot in their schedule and I think that is a big reason they are playing well but struggling to get wins. I'm on the other side of this game but understand your reasoning...

I agree.  The Suns have been overacheiving all season and have been pretty average on the road.  The Kings play well at home and I expect them to win this game straight up,   The Suns are my team, but I will be betting against them tonight...GL

why does 2.5 matter when the winning team will cover 90% of the time?

I understand you Value, I like the kings they show up every night and play with a lot of energy, but I think the suns are still the better team, and I believe they will cover tonight instead of that bad losing streak....Tyreke Evans is not 100% and is affecting the team, Udrih cant score each game over 20 points.....

I like the Gophers spread play!  Kind of hard to pull the trigger on the ML though, in Big 10 play the home team always seem to pull it out, but BOL to you, I hope it'll be a great game.

No action for me on this one but thought I'd offer my .02 anyway.

 

PHO has struggled in the role of Road Fav this year with a 4-4 ATS mark, however, they have been superb as a small Road Fav of 2.5 pts or less, coming in with a 3-0 mark in that sub-category (which is a match for the scenario tonight).

 

SAC has been great at home this year ATS with an overall mark of 11-7 ATS, however, if you look a little closer, you'll find that SAC isn't that great in the role of Home Dog. They are great as a Home Fav with a mark of 7-1, and that leaves a less than impressive 4-6 ATS record as a Dog at home. I currently have them down for a 2-2 ATS mark as a 2.5 pts or less Home Dog.
