Clowns will say it's the same thing and we should treat it the same
In 2010 when Lebron made decision: -Heat were nothing in the weak ass East. 5th seed and had not won a playoff series since winning title in 2006. Wade was barely a top 10 player. Lebron made them champions -The Cavs team Lebron left had less than no one. Varejao was their 2nd best player? Beyond comical
2016 when Durant left: -GS greatest team on paper all time, breaking wins record -GS with the MVP and 3 top 10 players -OKC has one of the best PGs in the league and a solid young team that was 1 game from the finals
Durant's move is one of the most laughable pussssy things I've ever seen in sports and has not even remotely close to Lebron's decision

-Cavs were 39-2 at home, would've tie the record 40-1 at home if the starters played the final game of the regular season. (The backups lost 111-110 in OT at home.)
-Cavs number 1 seed
-Cavs best record in the NBA

-Cavs won 60+ games that season

cavs roster . starting 5 - Shaquille o'neal , Antwan Jamison, lebron, Anthony Parker , mo Williams bench zydrunas ilgauskas, jj hickson, Jamarion moon, Daniel Gibson, Delonte west , & a young 3rd string varrjao. daddy's home please compare that with okc roster ., all those stats are what lebron did with that roster period , he told the owner to bring some players in to help & he got shaq pretty much retired & Jamison . so he really did not have a choice to stay

shaq, jamison and ilgauskas were all pretty much broken down/falling apart or close to it at that stage also.
regular season records dont mean shiit if you arent built for the playoffs and that squad didnt have the defense, rebounding nor dynamism when it counted.......theres zero doubt that durant had better around him, mostly all at their peak or young and rising, than wat lebron had at that stage....proof is in the pudding, they came within a game of beating the so-called "greatest team ever".

IDIOT POST:1) Lebron is the only player to EVER turn his free agency into a media circus in the way that he did, as if he were announcing a run for the Presidency. OMG, not even Trump threw his hat in the ring with such ridiculous fanfare. Durant is classier than Lebron could ever hope to be.2) Lebron is a coach killer and not a leader at all, although KD is not my prototypicla leader, either. I'll give you that. But we'ver NEVER, EVER seen KD throw any teammates or coaches under the bus in the way Lebron ALWAYS does. Had they LOST these finals, Lebron would have pointed fingers rather than give that long-winded, ridiculous, hypocritical speech praising his teammates.3) Ct uthe crap about Lebron winning a title in Clevaland like it's a big accomplishment. He was GIFTED a title by the league. But you're likely too dumb to see that. The same way the NFL just gifted Peyton a title. Lebron's latest title was bought and paid for by his biggest sponsor----NIKE. Man, educate yourself. I get tired of dropping gems for free on these boards.
1. lebron donated all the proceeds from the decision to local boys & girls clubs of America. there will never be another player like lebron, & ESPN wanted to glamorize it , he did it & gave a ton of money to charity. 2. he is not a coach killer , he is a leader on & off the court . the gm & owner made the call on blatt, oh and read above at lebrons cavs team in 09-10 shaq & Jamison were his other weapons. 3. nba gifted nothing to lebron & the cavs , in 3 straight elimination games he scored 41 , 41 & then a triple double in game 7. 4. you definitely rode the short bus to school if you even went to school. 5. thank you would you like another

Gifted a championship?? Why because they suspended draymond for game 5? Last time I checked they played two more games in that series with green. They had two chances to close it out and couldn't do it. They had a tie game for 4 minutes at home begging for the greatest offensive team ever to come through and they couldn't. LeBron led both teams in every statistical categrory in 2 straight finals against this proclaimed juggernaut. You win 73 games and have a 3-1 series lead. Maybe the league gifted Cleveland a game which is still a stretch, but there's no reason golden state couldn't win 1 of the last 2. They lost one back to back games in last 2 years!!! Get outta here with this garbage.

'too dumb to see that? people are not idiots because they differ from your ridiculous, and asinine commentary...you sir, are the one who needs to be educated, unfortunately you can't teach an old dog new tricks....according to you everything is fixed, and now of all things you state NIKE bought the NBA Championship and gave it to James as a gift????

pretty much all of those coaches are garbage....wat else have they done in the league??thats the question you shud probably ask yourself...they shud just be thankful that they cud cash a fat check for a little while courtesy of lebron.
its far too simplistic, deductive logic to say its the star players fault everytime a coach gets the boot...no doubt lebron has sum influence but the primary reason they all got fired is because the team wasnt advancing as far as expected due to.......you guessed it,weak supporting cast that cudnt step up at the most important time of the season.

Clowns will say it's the same thing and we should treat it the same
In 2010 when Lebron made decision: -Heat were nothing in the weak behind East.
100% CORRECT. Right on the money.

A weak supporting cast isn't the fault of a coach. Lebron is an egomaniac that undermines his coach every chance he gets. Poor David Blatt never had a chance. What did he do that was so wrong that he needed to be replaced mid-season other than the fact that he wasn't James' pick?

I have to say I am beginning to really appreciate your point of view........
Now to the other jokers in here, you say Cleveland had a championship gifted to them by the league or Nike via the league.... THIS IS A HILARIOUS STATEMENT! Lets remind everyone that Draymond Green had a track record of toeing the line between dirty play and gamesmanship. Now do I believe that, that play against Lebron alone deserved the same punishment and met the same criteria that the league established when evaluating the Green/Adams play; no I do not but the league does have a reputation of not giving the benefit of the doubt with regard to questionable plays involving repeat offenders (ex: Ron Artest & Stephen Jackson) the more they came across the league's desk the more harsh the penalties they received. More so than anything the league backed itself in the corner by not suspending green against OKC, maybe we wouldn't have had a Warriors/Cavs finals to begin with.
As far as Lebron being a coach killer, I would argue that he was more intelligent about basketball than anyone that has coached him also he lost in the finals last year to the same warriors team with David Blatt as the coach and IF he was the reason why Blatt was removed then you have to admit that Lebron was right as they did win the title this season. I am not saying that Blatt was the reason they lost last year but "hey, if you aren't part of the solution, then you are part of the problem, right?"
I am glad Durant went to the Warriors and hope that Wade comes to the Cavs, how great would that finals be, and how great would a Lebron win over that team be for his legacy........

-Cavs were 39-2 at home, would've tie the record 40-1 at home if the starters played the final game of the regular season. (The backups lost 111-110 in OT at home.)
-Cavs number 1 seed
-Cavs best record in the NBA
All because of Lebron. He played with 40 year old SHAQ, Antwuan Jameson, and Mo Williams as starters
The same team won 19 games the next year
Are you retarded?

no,not his literal, chronological age...but ask him how his body felt at that stage after being abused my 2 or more defenders on a nightly basis for a decade in the league........we all saw how rapidly his health, and subsequently his performance, declined from that year onwards...he was just a shell of the formerly dominant monster he once was.

no,its not his fault per se'....but we all know that once a team loses its the coaches head on the chopping block,as fuqqed up as that may be....so just pointing out that its more of a factor than the star players wishes in reality...shiity players=dead man walking coach more often than not.
i agree that lebron absolutely, positively had influence on getting blatt removed.and i dont really know enuff about the qualities of lue/blatt to know which was really the better coach...but hey,the proof is in the pudding, right??they sumhow found a way to win so the ends justify the means right or wrong....i know for damn sure there wud have been a shhiit-storm of blame on lebron once again if they had have lost after he went and got the coach fired.
fact is it was just a crappy situation and timing how the union came about....having lebron on the team and having it re-structured wasnt wat blatt signed up for and vice versa lebron wud not ideally have wanted a rookie head coach he knew nothing about..in the end sumthing had to give and i feel bad for blatt,by most accounts he is a very innovative, gifted coach if given the chance and not over-rided.

i agree that lebron absolutely, positively had influence on getting blatt removed.and i dont really know enuff about the qualities of lue/blatt to know which was really the better coach...but hey,the proof is in the pudding, right??they sumhow found a way to win so the ends justify the means right or wrong....i know for damn sure there wud have been a shhiit-storm of blame on lebron once again if they had have lost after he went and got the coach fired.
fact is it was just a crappy situation and timing how the union came about....having lebron on the team and having it re-structured wasnt wat blatt signed up for and vice versa lebron wud not ideally have wanted a rookie head coach he knew nothing about..in the end sumthing had to give and i feel bad for blatt,by most accounts he is a very innovative, gifted coach if given the chance and not over-rided.

I would have liked to seen what Blatt could have done with Irving and Wiggins. Really wanted to see how his style would have translated over with the younger guys.
I wonder... does Blatt get a ring?

1. lebron donated all the proceeds from the decision to local boys & girls clubs of America. there will never be another player like lebron, & ESPN wanted to glamorize it , he did it & gave a ton of money to charity.2. he is not a coach killer , he is a leader on & off the court . the gm & owner made the call on blatt, oh and read above at lebrons cavs team in 09-10 shaq & Jamison were his other weapons.3. nba gifted nothing to lebron & the cavs , in 3 straight elimination games he scored 41 , 41 & then a triple double in game 7. 4. you definitely rode the short bus to school if you even went to school.5. thank you would you like another
Paul Silas, Mike Brown, Byron Scott and David Blatt would like to have a word with you... Spoelstra was only saved by Riley not buckling.
