Early simplistic solution for slam dunk contest

Have the contestants all do the same 2 or  3 dunks.

They'll know Well ahead what they are, so they can practice.

Who ever gets the most points advances.

Then in final it's one predetermined dunk style and one more they can make up themselves.

They should raise the goal to 11' and set the court on fire.

They should somehow involve Dobermann Pinschers.

They should play Horse - that would allow way more creativity IMO - or play Horse with only dunks.,..

They should add defenders. The defenders should be afforded the use of a mace, or the melee weapon of their choice.

All they need to do is get street ballers to participate in it, i have been saying this for years... These NBA players just do the same dunks year after year and add a prop or gimmick to make it seem more impressive... 

They should make the participants spin roulette wheels with different elements and then perform them: (1 handed/2handed), (between the legs/behind the back), (jumping over a variety of stuff)

I like it but with mountain lions.
