In the last 62 years only 4 games have gone over 292 and 2 of those games took overtime. I'll take the percentages, I like those numbers.
UNDER 292.5

Right, he said 4 games have gone over. Did you miss that part? You have to agree the percentages in the the unders favor. Although last few years the game has been higher scoring

You don't think the oddsmaker know this information? Yet they set it this high?

Bookmakers just do not say ohh I like this number lets make it 293.5 or whatever. They would of spent many hours with simulators etc trying to get it down to maybe 1 or 2 points near or over the total.
Punters can take a guess but they will never get ahead of the book.

I get what you are saying about games having gone under but what is the mean total over the last 5-10 years. Have totals been increasing. Are games played at a faster paced today as opposed to 10 years ago and further back ?

I think they would be played at a faster pace now. The NBA has amazing athletes that can put points up in a hurry.
The total is tempting though. I can now get 293.5 as a total.
That is my thought as well. I was actually looking at the over because of the pace. But if they decide to play even 2-3 minutes or have a couple of minutes misses then it make the over very very difficult......... just my humble opinion.

Just wondering from a different angle. How will the refs manage this game. Will they let common fouls go and keep the players going and what would that do to scoring. Would it make it free flowing or would it deny teams more points ?
