Barkley said it well, WHO is Hibbert going to guard?!?

With 2 seconds left, everyone needs to man up. You can't possibly have someone hanging under the basket. 

Rambis just said Hibbert needs to be in there for rebounding. REBOUNDING, there is TWO SECONDS LEFT you aren't worried about rebounding. 

He made the right move and him getting destroyed is everyone wearing 20-20 goggles.

I can understanding for knocking Vogel not having Hibbert in on the earlier possession, but NOT the one with 2 seconds.

George was amazing the entire game, but blew it in the last possession. He should have known that Lebron is going hard inside, maybe he lost his balance and lost contact with Lebron. That's too bad. I think he's responsible for Lebron's easy layup. Can't blame him for the loss, though.

u dont understand whats basketball is about dude.a 7'2 guy is not supposed to guard anyone but stay around and protect the paint with 2.2 on the clock.u wouldnt want to drive and attempt a lay up if he was there.most ridiculous way to lose a basketball game.

You got Hibbert to slide off his defender on the baseline and protect the rim. He doesnt need to be pressed up on Bosh. Your main concern is penetration.

As a coach you would rather let Bosh take a corner 3 or a long perimeter shot than let LBJ beat you with a layup. Fuc you want anybody even Lebron to take a jumper rather than a layup in that situation.

So yes it is the coach's fault.

obviously they went small and invited the layup.  there's nobody in the game big enough to guard lebron going to the hole.

i'm sure vogel knows he was a bonehead tonite

If you are so fricken smart, cite when you have EVER ever in the history of NBA bb cite another time(especially in a playoff game at that)  where there was EVER more WORST defense then what we all just witnessed..........

An easy left handed layup  ( WITH NO RIM PROTECTION at that) ........Hell,  LBJ could have had an easy  SPECTACULAR highlight dunk if he really wanted to

Maybe vogel noticed what a great job hibbert did on stopping wades layup toward the end of regulation.   Hibbert is way too slow.

#4 Sam young comes back to the rim and kinda gave up but if that was Roy ,he would try to block it or foul him ..who knows lebron might choke and make one

Remember game 6 Nyk vs Indy when Roy block melo when it was 92-90 that was like the key moment in that game

You think I disagree with the notion it was awful defense?

Hell no I 100% agree w that, it was a complete and utter breakdown by George. 

But that has nothing to do with the strategy involved.

you forgot a word.  it's called BLOCK.

That's what Hibbert's job is.

You don't defend the inbound and you expect help if you get beat.

But like I said whatever-there's no f/cking way in hell Vogel would do that again.

You have Hibbert in the game to defend the in-bounds pass.  Get his big behind body in front of whoever is passing the ball in and it changes the entire play.  You then instruct the rest of the team that if LeBron starts to go towards the basket you foul him no matter what.  Make him earn the points.

Terrible coaching decision.

two straight miami possessions.  two straight plays with hibbert, the rim protecter, on the bench.  two straight lay-ups.  simple.  i thank frank vogel; cause i was one of the idiots with miami money line.
