Alright back on this friday night of NBA. The first game I am going to play is the Celtics +5 in ATL. Potential look ahead spot for the Celtics, however the Hawks also have a big game on Sunday against the Knicks. These 2 teams have a history of close games, usually with the Celtics on the winning side. I'm aware of the back to back spot for the Celtics but I'm going with their successful history against the inconsistent Hawks, as well as their desperate need for a win, especially on the road. Bucks -4 @ Cavaliers Should be a high scoring affair between these two teams. I'm playing "All-Star Snub" angle in this matchup. Look for Brandon Jennings to be very aggressive against Kyrie Irving tonight as he was selected over Jennings as an all star reserve. This game should go over the total as well, I am not a totals bettor though. Rockets @ Hornets (I mean Pelicans -2.5) Gotta ride with the hotter team here. Houston is 2-8 SU and 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games. In those 10 games they have averaged only 97.3 ppg while giving up 102.8 ppg on the defensive end. Now they have to travel on the road against a team that is playing much better now at full strength than they started off the season depleted by injuries and inconsistent starting lineups. The Hornets are 7-3 SU in there last 10 and 8-2 ATS. This record includes wins @ Boston, Philly and Dallas, and at home to San Antonio and included competitive losses to the Spurs and Golden State. Should be high scoring and contain lots of 3 pointers in this one. Give me the Pelicans here. Leans: The Twolves +6 in Washington, seems like way too many for the Wizards to be favored by. Lakers -4.5, hopefully I can get the line to drop to 4 Mavs ML BOL to everyone tonight. |
