what's the reasoning behind it? that its difficult to play in MSG and The Garden? Teams get tired on road trips? the trend is strong, but what's the reason?

All that article says is that there is a trend and an "unspoken pact" between to the two teams. Now I highly doubt there is actually a pact between any two NBA teams, so aside of that conjecture...what is the reasoning?

Unless of course you actually believe the Celtics watched last night's game and said "oh shit, the Knicks lost, we gotta go out and win one for them".

At least with Utah/Denver you can say altitude causes it, with the Texas 3-some you can say 3 games against 3+ .500 teams is hard to sweep.

Looking through last year.  Utah won @ NY then got blasted @ Bos.  Atl won @ NY and then blasted Bos.  I am out of time can someone do 2007 and 2008?  Can't put cash on 50/50 proposition.

take a look at some of LA struggles on this trip. Memphis was shooting lights out until some turnovers cost them.

Bookmaker opened LA -3.5, off the board right now. Hoping for a 4.5/5

Didnt Knicks just lose to Clippers without Gordon playing.  Seems like they are off there game right now.  Cant argue with acela but every streak bound to lose.

well i saw it @bookmaker around 4pm and it had LA -3.5. I would imagine early money pushes it up.

This looks like such a letdown for the Lakers. Finally, they beat the elite team and have to play a mediocre Knick team the next night. I am betting they cannot get up for two teams in a row.
