Friday ATL@BOS OVER

Question

3-1 &#x2B;2400 on the week after tonight&#x27;s W. Friday im playing the OVER Atl@Bos. It&#x27;s at 173.5 (5-2- 1130pm) and I don&#x27;t see much movement coming before tomorrow night. I have this game capped at 185 and I feel very good about this play.

Not in the slightest. Also the total is at 173.5 so the whole world thinks its going to be a low scoring game. What is a lot on the over? The consensus here on covers? Most of my plays fall into the "sharp" category or the opposite side of the public but that type of mentality had absolutely no basis on my play whatsoever. I just cap games how I see them and then afterwords maybe i might notice which side im on.

i still take under josh smith put up 36 points for the hawks in that game and they still only put up 167 previous game 157 under every game this series that is the best bet

If thats some type of dig or whatever because i lost that play I would make that play a million times over. A million missed fts and magic scoring less than 35 pts in a half, maybe they left some points on the floor. Anyway that was the only play I lost this week, and yes I like the OVER in the atl@bos game tomorrow. YES i know josh smith is out and  YES I still capped this game at 185.

Why you think this game going over with the air tight defense that has been played? And with out Josh Smith where do you think the hawks points come from he is the only one who can create his own shot right now and even the shots he is making has been so tough that I doubt he will keep making them? I just want to hear your insight to see if Im over looking something....

with that -8 line, i see a blowout game though. boston gets their share of points, i dont know with atlanta.

Atlanta wants to run and speed up the pace of the game. That's all they talk about and it's no secret that's their game plan. It's the only way they think they can beat Boston because they know their half-court offense is shit against the Boston D.

No Smith or an injured Smith is going to seriously hamper them from rebounding and starting the fastbreak. No one else can rebound and start the fast break by themselves like Smith does. The Celtics have already been outscoring the Hawks in fastbreak points WITH Smith in the 1st two games.

If the C's know that the offense will be run through Joe Johnson, all they're going to do is smother the shit out of him to shut down their offense. If Smith doesn't play, the Hawks ability to score in the paint is going to suffer. If Smith does play, I expect him to not be aggressive on the inside and chuck outside shots all night long.

But, who knows? Johnson, Teague and Hinrich could shoot 60% from the field, Ivan Johnson could have a career night and McGrady could find the fountain of youth.
