Smart this may be a very stupid question but I have never engaged in live betting before and only have an acct at one book, but if I bet the Knicks initially and then "bought back" the Celtics later would the book deny the second wager?

You again. First the endless questioning on betting off of road trips, and now you wanna question the line I got.
I tell ya, you can believe what you want. You can be jealous all you want. I would imagine that if i had a name with guru in the title and I wasn't getting all the attention, then I might be a bit jealous too.
Now back to what matters.
It's about making money. While everyone placed their bets tonight, crossing their fingers for a win, I knew I had won, risk free. I even told everyone in this thread ahead of time what I would be doing, as a heads up to avoid moments like this.
Regardless of what anyone thinks, it's about making money. That's it. It doesn't matter how you do it. At the end of the day, week, month, season, all that matters is that you made money.
And to add to the issue, anyone who has done live betting with numerous books knows, the lines move, a lot. It's all about timing. I can't type in a bet, submit it to covers while typing in my bet amounts, passwords and submitting then to my books at the same time. I also have friends and co-workers who get my plays and yes they come before posting at covers.com.
Now that I have addressed the issue, I am moving on to Saturday's card.

Trying to understand live betting so we risk 5u say $5 for simplicity on NY and we lose. Then 5u on Bos at 5 to win 10 and we win. We lose 5 but win 10 so we we profit 5u? Or if NY won we risk 5 to win 5x1.75 or 8,75 so we win 3.75u?

Yup. You win regardless of who wins the game. Risk Free.
