Rockets got the job done as expected with a few tense moments before halftime . You only get this kind of performance angle for Game 1. Big adjustments are made for Game 2, moreso by the opponent, so we took advantage it of while it was available.

scal i was thinking you should have titled the thread; turning last years losses to this years profits:)
Hey, don't get pushy! I already put your name in the write-up right up top!
To all the above
Snow, I expected this line to get to -1 Spurs and I think it will get their before tip, specially if the Cavs and Hawks don't cover (and watching how Klay and Steph, two of the players I would choose to be at the line for late-game FT's if my very life was at stake, blow several to keep that game close, who knows?).
People love the Clips blowout potential against bad teams and will bet them through the roof in that spot. Against great teams? Not so much. And people don't mind taking away a basket to lay one, so that's how 4 point swings are possible around zero (see the Nets Bucks line last week that went from -2.5 Bucks to +1.5 Bucks).
No write-ups today even though I LOVE game 1's of the opening round.

Very interesting game, Scal. Spurs are a public dog, if we can call them a dog. They have lost two straight to the Clips in humiliating fashion, and if the Warriors had beaten NO by 30 yesterday, which they were on their way to doing, the Spurs would have even more to be ashamed of (since they lost to NO with the 2nd seed in play). I really think the public is right here in backing the Spurs but I'm hoping that's not the case as I'd love to see the Clippers win and eventually advance. The Warriors are not afraid of the Clippers and I would put great amounts of money on the Warriors to come out of the West if that happened. Although the Clippers have a chocking gene in them, so do the Spurs. Their win against the Rockets was very shaky and was, in hindsight, a sign of things to come in NO. This team misses free throws and layups on the road against good teams (shots they always make at home). So if the Clippers are ahead in the last few minutes, I like their chances (minus Jordan on the foul line, of course).
