After winning game 1 ML I had no interest in game 2 thinking the Heat would probably blow out SA. I have since changed my mind for a couple reasons.
First the NBA is not fixed. I keep hearing this at the bar, in the forums etc. When people start telling me this is fixed I just think to myself this guy is a dope and fade. Only losers think this is fixed because they need an excuse, maybe one ref does it here or there for fun but not the Finals. Not a big game with so many eyes.
I was talking to my friends and strangers at the bar yesterday, some are big fans some casual but not one, not one facking person said SA is going to win (20 people). Rather not one even game them chance. They were so confident that one of my friends who couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat told me it's his 5 star guarantee lock which holds about as much weight as a Patrick Ewing guarantee. Soccer today same thing, oh Heat by 20 is all I heard.
If you are someone who fades and likes to read the forums how the heck can you take the Heat when across three forums all have the Heat LARGE. Only losers go large all the time, here or there is fine but you should be flat betting but that's not the point of this thread. I've never seen so many LARGE this or LARGE that in the forums acting as if this is free money. I'm always hesitant or cautious about my bets, kind of feel uncomfortable. The more confident the more likely you will lose. Too much confidence from the same clowns in the forums.
The NBA is the only sport where the best team wins every year. My eyes tell me the Spurs are the better team. Heat just look so banged up, this time of the year your stars are what win, not the bench. Two of the three are not playing close the level they were in the regular season. Wade I'm not even expecting much, he looks like an old car that is about to be thrown in the junkyard because of injuries and wear and tear of the league. Bosh just flat out is in a huge funk. Who are you going to rely on late? Double Lebron and make anyone else beat you. If the Spurs can even hit 35% from 3 this could easily be a DD win for them.
Yes I know the numbers after a Heat loss but a different team different spot. This is the Finals throw it all out the window. That was when they were playing inferior talent and healthy. Lebron has a lot of Arod in him when it comes to these spots. Obviously he's an all time great and a monster but I don't trust him in these spots even if it isn't his fault. Will be interesting to see what adjustments are made and how they plan on stopping Parker, don't hold your breath with the Heats coaching staff. Heat could win by 30 I wouldn't be surprised but I like my SA ticket considering everything I just detailed. Maybe I should of just said I'm going to fade fade fade and fade some more than have you read this ridiculous post. Spurs ML +260 and +6 both even amount. 3/6/13
