This is what I call double reverse psychology. Throw out a very short line and have potential bettors think damn that’s a short spread, it’s too easy to take MINNY -3.5? Isn’t it? Denver is the play.

Denver was a -6.5 point fav in gm 2

-5.5 in game 1 and now the team that dominated them is only -3.5 at home? 

The only play is MINNY -3.5

My numbers have this line at -9.5

disagree with your analysis.  10 point swing is a lot.  If they wasn't up 2-0 I think Denver would have been favored.  We just seeing the reality that Denver is not able to keep up.

 Last series Minny was never 9.5 playing the Suns but they should be 9.5 against denver

 Looks like it’s up to -4.5 now .. which is still low.  After getting dominated a full 90 minutes .. I can’t see anything that is going to motivate McNuggets to even compete.  Joker seems to have checked out to his farm and ironically Jamal could not hit the broad side of his barn right now.  Does NBa have some hidden script that going to make Denver somehow compete ?! 

Looks like Denver plus the points is officially the play for game 3. 

I'm stating the obvious but with these sorts of games I can't bring myself to bet22 any significant money because I feel twice as bad as normal if I lose.

If I make the obvious Timberwolves -3.5 bet, and the Nuggets covers I'll be pissed because the line was obvious bait.

If I make the contrarian Nuggets +3.5 bet, even though the Timberwolves just beat them by 7 and 26 in Denver, and the Nuggets fail to cover then I feel even stupider because it was obvious that the Timberwolves are the better team in better form and on their home court should cover -3.5 or more based on the recent games.

Denver must win again?

Line will move because Murray is likely to get suspended too. 

I'm guessing by game day it will be Minny -8.5

Just going to sit back and watch rest of series as I have Timberwolves to win series.I have a juicy +220 before series began and I will cash my ticket.I will put my winnings on Timberwolves next series and will cash that ticket.I will put all that on Boston to win championship and collect that.

If you really want to take Denver, then you should wait for Murray to get suspended for throwing the heat pack.  After that I am certain the line will jump another 1-2 points.

Murray is hobbbled.  Anyone notice Reggie Jackson hopped out of the arena.  Denver is overmatched.  Sometimes ya gotta go with what appears to be obvious.  Joker outmanned-- like he was against Golden State two years ago (I believe) and was swept.

Dallas Mavs went up 2-0 on the road vs. NBA-defending champs LA Lakers. Won g1 by 2 pts, and g2 by 12 pts. LA came with the expected huge push to get back into the series @Dallas in g3 but ended up losing by 6 pts (that after leading by 6 pts at the start of the 4Q, which the Mavs won 32-20) and proceeded to not show in g4 which Mavs won by a whopping 36 pts.
