Totally agreed. IF CP3 will choose to play at Memphis they will win 5 championships in a row

the one thing in okcs favor is that Ibalka was terrible offensively and gave them nothing, and he can only get better on offense.

the key match-up i was watching all game was who is gaurding randolph and their effectiveness. ibalka did a very good job on zandolph. he has the length, strength and quickness to effectively guard randolph.

Every game in this series is coming down to the last minute, and will depend on last minute execution. as we saw in the last game, one team is average at best at executing in the final minute of a tight ball game, and the other team has the best scorer in the game

(yes, durant is a better scorer than james)

I agree with your last paragraph but Conley will be better this game. Ball control and late possessions will be Memphis' focus since they 
fu{|<Ed up so badly last game.

Remember, Grizz had a 12 pt lead and were cruising to a win before Durant and Martin started making everything. 

And the Grizz still covered after all that with a ridiculous foul on a 3 pt attempt (they were lucky it wasn't a better FT shooter). Grizz gave the game away to a thunder team that took full advantage.


Now it's a must win. Not so for OKC. They only need 1 in Memphis to retain home court so the urgency won't compare to Memphis' urgency tonight.

I was on Memphis in game 1 and was hoping they would win to pound OKC in game 2.  The fact that Memphis gave that game away is exactly what scares me in backing them tonight.  I don't know how they will bounce back from that heart breaker.  Nonetheless, BOL.

Thunder only need 1 of the next 3 to retain home court.

Grizz will need to win 4 of 5 if they lose tonight. (% wise it is highly improbable based on the history of teams going down 0-2).

Both teams are pretty evenly matched.

Do you think the home court overrides the Grizz' urgency?

Not me...I'll be on the Grizz and the points are left at the door. Give me the juice the bookie wants.

They were the better team and a heartbreaker was what happened to Golden State. This was merely a heart 'flutter.'

I do this as a hobby. Nothing more. $100 a game with some extra if the spot screams of value.

 Painfully may be the more appropriate term, especially when comparing to GSW loss, but my point is Memphis lost a game they knew they should have won.  How they bounce back remains to be seen.  GL on the play.

We know they could string off 4 in a row against the Clips after an 0-2 start (with the 2nd loss being within the number in a loss on the road by a hair).
That's a good indicator.

This team either wins or gets inside the number in these playoffs driving a Memphis play here.

The last 2 mints of game 1 showed that thunder has the ability to get stops and score when the game is on the line. Tonight if okc has a lead late i really dont think Memphis will be able to come back, the only way they win is if they duplicate game 1 but finish the job, i like Memphis too, logicly they should win tonight, gl

I was opposite to you. I had MEM too but actually was glad to see them losing but still covering, cause i knew that if they cover but losses than i can take them the next game.

Game turned out just as discussed.

Conley better.
Martin fell off.

Memphis ML hit in a must win...and they played like it every stretch of the way.

Nice hit USC's finest!  Should've taken ML like you did, but I'll take the insurance any day.  Motivated to work/study harder analyzing these games.  Time to look for zig zag opportunities tomorrow.  BOL!

Great call and write up scal. Memphis certainly passes the eye test. Loved the way they finished off the clippers. OKC better dig deep in games 3 and 4 or they have a real strong possibility of coming back home down 3-1

People don't realize how tough an arena Memphis has. Can get as loud as Oracle at times. 3-1 is what Memphis desperately needs to move onto the WCF or this is going 7 back in OKC.

Where are the answers for OKC?

Ya needed 25 from Martin the 1st game to eek out a win.

Now ya need 19 from Fisher and you lose by 6 because Martin disappears.

Who steps up next game? Jackson/Thabo? These aren't the guys you rest your season on. 

Durant has another big game but so what? We knew he would.

Grizz? Solid balanced scoring attack as expected...

Result: OKC is in knee deep doo doo heading to the Midwest.

And this was the game to slam. Why deal with laying 5.5/6 in Memphis when you had 2.5 and a tidy ML right here?

I think i'm gonna go with MEM again in game 3, but this one was the best in this series. The night before I "prayed" that the bookies will keep up with their line of having the same line for games 1 and 2.

And they did and you knew they would 1 pt difference is not an issue).

What could they do, make a 60 win team a pickum on their own floor? No way. ML it and take the juice the bookie pockets. (Not to mention a heaping spoonful of in game action which I hope you hit up. Mem got as high as +180!)
