GucciCapper's horrendous losing streak is in the rear view mirror and GucciCapper is expecting a nice run before Christmas hits. GucciCapper knows everyone wants a little extra money during this time of year, so GucciCapper is digging deep and trying GucciCapper's best to provide some easy winners.
Today we have a big card in the NBA but GucciCapper has only one game circled. At first, this game was under the radar for GucciCapper, but after digging deep, GucciCapper is going to back one of the coldest teams in the NBA tonight.
So who are we taking GucciCapper? We are going to take the +6 with the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight. Here's why.
1) The Timberwolves have not won in the month of December. After starting the year 4-1, and going into the month of December at 10-8, the Timberwolves are now 10-14. In these six losses, the Timberwolves have been losing by a lot. 8 to Memphis, 7 to Dallas, 8 to OKC (OT), 17 to the Lakers, 16 to the Suns and 11 to the Jazz. All of these games have been very high scoring as the Timberwolves are not playing any defense. The next game the Timberwolves play is against New Orleans next Wednesday. So with all the time off, GucciCapper expects the Timberwolves to come out focused tonight on national tv and make a statement. We are only getting 6 here boys. It looks hard to take, but TRUST GucciCapper, they will cover this.
2) The Clippers are BANGED up. This is the first of a B2B for the Clippers and everyone and their mother knows that the Clippers do like to take games off when necessary. These Clippers are not going for the #1 seed. They are trying to stay healthy for the playoffs. Tonight, the Clippers are without their starting backcourt. They are also without Lou Williams who is their main scorer in the 4th quarter and usually logs 30+ minutes on the team. They really have no point guards tonight guys. Beverly is out. Shamet has been out. Williams is out. This leaves Derrick Walton Jr. who is going to start but has a nagging hamstring injury himself. Rodney McGruder is going to play but he's on a minutes restriction. JaMychal Green is also out. Tonight, it's basically PG13 and Leonard against a motivated and hungry Timberwolves squad.
3) Typical let down spot for the Clippers. The Clippers just went up to Toronto which was a huge game for Leonard. Before that game, they were in Indiana and they played well. These California boys are ready to get back to warm weather and they know that they fly out tomorrow after a game in Chicago. Also, the Clippers are not that great of a road team sporting a 6-6 record so far in the season. It's Friday the 13th tonight. GucciCapper expects a bloodbath for all Clipper backers on this national televised game.
4) Maybe a Jersey change is all that's necessary. Tonight the Timberwolves will be sporting their MSP blue jerseys. They look quite odd in GucciCapper's opinion, but who knows? Gamblers sometimes need to change up their style when they get cold. Maybe these ball players just need to wear a baby blue jersey to get their confidence back.
5) Wiggins and Towns on National Television. These guys are two superstars who disappoint time after time. The Timberwolves don't get much national attention, but tonight they will be playing on ESPN. Look for Towns to have a similar game that Joel Embiid had last night.
So there you have it guys. GucciCapper is going to take the +6 points against PG13 and Leonard. GucciCapper thinks the Timberwolves outright win tonight, but Guccicapper will play it safe and take the points.
Lets make it 4 in a row and 5 out of 6 after tonight.
