Many of GucciCapper's readers from 2016 may remember GucciCapper sitting courtside at multiple Sacramento Kings games. GucciCapper would always sit next to the visitor's bench wearing a visitors jersey. GucciCapper got Andre Drummond, Kristaps Porzingis and Tyronn Lue to sign their respected jerseys. On second thought, Tyronn Lue signed a Lebron James jersey but GucciCapper was about 15 Johnnie Walker Blues deep that GucciCapper still thought it was still cool.
Anyway, GucciCapper has always been very good at capping Sacramento Kings games. GucciCapper is VERY confident tonight that the Sacramento Kings cover the -2.5 spread EASILY. Here's why.
1) 3 of the Phoenix Suns starters are probable. GucciCapper expects 2/3 of them to suit up, but with 3 starters all banged up on a back to back, GucciCapper expects them to get A LOT of rest in the 2nd half when the Sacramento Kings are blowing them out. Baynes, Saric and Rubio are all questionable to probable. Frank the Tank is also questionable.
2) GucciCapper LOVES these situations where the visitor team just had a huge home stand and now goes on the road for ONE game before going back home. Phoenix hasn't been on the road since November 2nd. They have been at home for 6 consecutive games and now fly up to Sacramento for one game. After that, they go back home for a game on Thursday night. This in itself makes teams come out sluggish. Add in the fact that they played last night against Boston, GucciCapper seems no motivation tonight for the Suns.
3) Revenge. The Kings got destroyed opening night against the Suns. The Kings were actually up 5 at half when they decided to not show up for the 2nd half of the game. Expect the Kings to be completely focus tonight at home.
4) Slow start for the Kings. The Kings started the season 0-5 and have quietly put on a nice little run. Sitting at 5-7 now, the Kings WILL be 6-7 after they win this game. After this game, the Kings go on a 4 game road trip where they will miss Thanksgiving Dinner with their families. Expect the Kings to be focused to come out tonight and get closer to .500. Being 1 game under .500 is a lot different than being 3 games under .500.
5) This is the Suns 4th road game of the season. Guys, GucciCapper used to back Booker and the Suns all the time last year and was ALWAYS disappointed. The Suns have improved, but they have had a VERY favorable start of the season. Now this young team has go to on the road on a back to back situation. GucciCapper doesn't have faith that they will get up for this game at all.
The Kings have been playing quite well and GucciCapper expects them to come out focused tonight on a quiet Tuesday night in Sacramento. Expect this one to come quite easy boys. GucciCapper expects a double digit win by GucciCapper's hometown Kings.
