With the Thunder on the brink of elimination, it's should be noted that no regular season scoring champion has won the NBA Finals championship in the same season since Shaquille O'Neal did so during the 1999-00 season. Kevin Durant was the NBA scoring champion this season, averaging 27.7 PPG.

Ha ha, the Mavericks don't need the homecourt advantage, EnforcerX.  They've won 33 of 48 road games this season, tops in the NBA.  They'll have to win twice in Miami, presuming that the Heat will win at least once in Dallas.  The Mavericks can do it.  They will be focused as f*ck to avenge one of the biggest robberies of the new century, the 2006 Bennett Salvatore NBA Finals.

The Bulls don't scare me at all. One man show there....

Now the Heat could be a problem....they have two GREAT players that like to drive the basket. IMO, for Dallas to win they will have to make MIA a jump shooting team and keep them out of the paint. A tall order for DAL to say the least!

You do know that Miami is unbeatable at home these playoffs, right?

And now, Dallas will win twice in Miami?

This is the key, and this is why Dallas wins. They have faced no interior defense. Make the heat a shooting team, and Dallas SWEEPS because there will be no double teams, and its not like their "Role" players are going to do much. Haywood and Chandler will make driving inside a living hell. Marion can contain James (CONTAIN) and make him a perimeter shooter more than hes comfortable with. Same with Stevenson and Wade (CONTAIN).

The matchups fall so easily into Dallas' hands.

And homecourt advantage will mean 0 in this series, which favors Dallas

The way Dwyane Wade is playing these days, the Mavs could send Steve Erkel out to contain him.

even though homecourt advantage proll will not be a huge factor in the series (if miami beats chicago), if dallas were to steal just one game between the first two game, if i havnt mistaken, the finals setup is a 2-3-2 format which would initially be to the benefit of Dallas.,

B, the only thing that kinda worries me is that mavs have that 2 players that known as playoff final chocker. peja and marion that is. Will that going to be a factor at all?
