You're right about that...

The older spread sheet I was using basically tells me who won 1Q & 3Q as dogs or faves, home or away,and why the teams either won both or lost both.

The new spread sheets I'm using now gives me a better idea how the game is going.  It is broken down into 1Q, home, road, win, loss, by how many points, what the results were in the 3Q and the 2 half and the game based on what happened in the 1Q & 1half.  I like it a lot better... AND there's no guarantee it's going to hit 100%.

But the trends sure pop out when comparing 2 teams

Maybe you could come up with an excel format that you could copy and paste into here so that yoo not have to type as much.  Also in the format you can have W-L for all Q's along with W-L for situation on 3Q

This week's record

System 1Q/3Q plays:

8-3=73%

We didn't really discuss the 1Q picks today- so I went over them and it actually hit today at 4-1 with 3Q plays.

3Q System Plays- we are now using the spreadsheet Version 3 with 2Half plays

Went 9-1 TODAY= 90%

Week's total

16-4=80%

I've never seen numbers like this before

great job yesterday...it is a little confusing to me which bets you actually play and which ones you just write up....no worries tho still a winning day

Nugs- I'll try to be more concise with the picks.  There will be less write up.

For the 3Q & Half plays, I'll just post the plays.  It takes a while for my book to put up the lines, so I might not have the lines with the post.

Thursday 1Q/3Q Plays:

HOU/GSW>>> Play Houston -1/2 in the 1Q.  Houston is 5-4 on the road for the 1Q.  GSW is 2-5 covering the 1Q at home.

MIA/DEN>>> Play Miami +2 1/2.  Miami is 4-2 on the road covering the 1Q.  Denver is 2-7 against the number for the 1Q. 
I love this quarter line.  Denver will blow out Miami in the 2half and they'll get the cover, but they start out slow so we get the benefit for a nice number.  Will play a little ML action too.

My local uses Bodog lines at times and that is what they had it at

I despise Bodog but the line was good so I got it
