Alright, so about three weeks ago, I had some fraudulent charges on my bank account. I reported the charges I did not recognize from this time frame.
One of the charges was from bunnyhopbabyshop.com. I figured it was a fraudulent charge, as it was made during this time… and I have no reason to be shopping for babies.
I then received a notice from Bovada about the dispute I had made, and my account was also temporarily disabled at this time for a couple of hours. I quickly realized that this charge was a deposit to the site. So I cancelled the dispute, informed Bovada and they reactivated my account.
However, I could not do that before the credit was returned back to me.
Upon it being cancelled. On March 1st my statement said the charge was "re-billed". So I figured everything was fine. Then… I go to log on this afternoon. And my account is disabled, and cites that they were back charged the amount on the deposit.
I called immediately and informed them that the amount was re-billed to them. They proceeded to tell me that they go through 3rd parties, so they do not recommend that you have your bank re-bill the charge. As there's a good chance the funds will just float, be lost and never recovered.
They said I can send them a copy of my bank statement, which I just did. But my account will continue to be disabled until this is resolved. Which could be never. All I can do is re-deposit the money.
Which would be easy if it was a small amount. But I set aside a good portion money every three to be deposited for the purpose of betting. Not important how much, but it is a lot of money to me. I can't really afford to re-deposit it.
The funds just look like they are lost upon my bank re-billing them. What in the hell can I do? They said it will be a long investigation and usually it doesn't workout anyway.
Kind of freaking…

My guess is the bunnyhopbabyshop.com charge wasn't fraudulent. You sure you didn't deposit at the time because my deposits on bovada would often be from some sort of bubblegifts.com or some ridiculous name like that.

Yes, the bunnyhopbabyshop.com was the Bovada deposit. I know, my post is long. Probably skimmed over that.
I cancelled my dispute with that charge when I realized it was Bovada.
It was then automatically re-billed. But since they go through a third party. They are saying the money could very well be just lost.
I mean… thousands of bucks just gone. And now my account is disabled, which holds even more money.

What does fraudulent charges on your bank account from a third party have anything to do with your Bovada account?
The fraudulent charges occurred around the same time I made my deposit. Bovada's deposit showed up on my statement as bunnyhopbabyshop.com. Which was seemingly similar to some of my fraudulent charges, so I reported it. Then, after looking deeper, realized it was the Bovada deposit from myself and not fraudulent.
When I cancelled the dispute on the charge, my bank automatically re-billed the transaction. Bovada uses third parties to move money around, and it was poorly explained to me… but bottom line is, that when it was re-billed. Instead of the money going to them, it likely disappeared. It's probably just floating.

Well that's your fault. You're bringing attention to illegal gambling dumba$$.
So sick of the kids on this board. Holy sh*t, some of you people are dumb. And just plain sh*tty human beings overall.
I didn't bring attention to illegal gambling. Not in the least. This has nothing to do with my bank finding out about the charges being related to sports betting or gambling. It has to do with the way Bovada's financial system is structured.
Does it feel good to be a d1ck for absolutely no reason? I'm sure whatever causes you to act out like this in your life, must be worse than anything I could imagine. So I apologize that your life is that sh*tty. Maybe it has something to do with being a Lions fan.

Thanks to all of you who actually tried to help out. Doing what I can, calling my bank and Bovada. Looks like a chunk of my Saturday will be spent dealing with this.

I would advice you to switch sites too after you get this resolved. I use to be on Bovada and had similar problems, but everything did work out. They are kind of slow but pretty reasonable and willing to listen to your problems. Best of luck

I can't advise in any way with regards to your problem but I think you posted in the wrong forum. Instead, you should post in the US gaming industry forum and possibly get help from someone there. I don't know if they still do but the owners of this site (and reps from bookmakers) used to directly respond and assist clients with certain issues.

Hey, thanks guys. Was in full panic mode last night.
Spent this morning on the phone with my bank and Bovada. After a lot of hassle, I was able to cancel the re-billing of the charge. I received my money back into my bank account.
I then called Bovada, and paid the charge myself. My account was reactivated. Funds are all there. All is well.
Thanks to those who responded. I also apologize for not posting this on the correct forum. I was not aware that there was a forum created for these type of subjects.
