Hawks have lost twice for me this season  

what a victory for the Thunder last night and now travel to Atlanta for a major let down spot . Books know this too 

has moved from +2 into where I am at pk

Trae young has been on one the last couple weeks and to me Thunder won’t be able to replicate a back to back performance with this on the road I get the home court momentum and most important to me is that the Hawks have a “new year” to re write their trajectory 

3 games in four 4 nights off a b2b especially after a BIG EMOTIONAL WIN. Seems like I am on the right side

This will also be the Thunder's 6th game in the last 9 days while it will be only the 4th game for the Hawks in the last 9 days. The scary part is that the Hawks have won only one home game since Thanksgiving, and that was against the Pistons. That's like winning no home games since Thanksgiving. Perhaps even scarier than that is the fact that the Hawks last covered the spread at home SIXTY-FOUR days ago! Wait, what?? And the scariest stat of all that's staring Hawks bettors in the face today is that the Hawks are just 4-9 and 1-11-1 ATS this season at State Farm Arena. Then again, maybe they're just due.

For what it's worth (not much), the Hawks are 6-7 this season following a win and 7-12 following a loss, and they just defeated the Wizards on Monday to snap a 4-game losing streak. I actually think these losers can win again tonight, and the oddsmakers seem to have faith, too, given that they saw fit to barely make the far superior Thunder the favorites in this matchup, and early birds have seen fit to bet this game down to a Pick 'em.

Some may be wondering if the Thunder might suffer a letdown tonight after taking down the mighty Celtics last night as 4-point home dogs. Well, teams are 6-0 so far this season after beating the Celtics though just 3-3 ATS. Only one of those teams defeated the Celtics and then played their next game on the road, and that was the Sixers who downed the Pistons 114-106 in Detroit where they got backdoored as 9-point road favorites after letting the Pistons score the final 9 points of the game over the final 90 seconds.

The Pacers defeated the Celtics on December 5th in Indiana and then played their next game in Las Vegas as semi-finalists in the phony in-Season Tournament, but I don't count that as a road game. I don't count that as anything.

The schedule is not being kind to the visiting Thunder as tonight they begin a road trip of longer than three games with no day off after their last home game. That is unusual, and certainly a reason why the oddsmakers expect this game in Atlanta to be tough for them to win. However, the Thunder are a perfect 3-0 SU & ATS this season in the second of back-to-backs. Those wins came against the Pistons, Blazers, and last week against the Knicks.

I think this is a stay away game for me.  To many angles on both sides to figure out and determine which will win.

B2B, situational play, good spot play and blah blah blah. Atlanta is GARBAGE!! Overpaid clowns. Period. If I play, it’s either Oklahoma or no play. Play the better team than play the garbage team and wish for the best. GL boys and girls.

Hawks are -1 as of this point on my book 

The Hawks dominated at the line in the 1st half, making a sweet 22 outta 23. It’s always fun being on the NBA team that wants it more. So far that is definitely the home team.

Not a surprise that the Thunder are shooting 70% so far in the 3rd quarter (14-20). Yeah, like the Hawks were gonna cruise for all four quarters.

The Thunder summoned enough energy to whittle their 17-point halftime deficit down to 97-90, but that was it. The Hawks went back up by 16 and now lead 116-103 heading to the 4th.

Dejounte Murray is the best guard on this team and it isn’t even close to be honest. Trae puts the butts in seats and has the rare night where he goes for 40+ as another poster said but without a doubt Murray is the better overall player.
