Why would GS be laying 3 points? 2 nights ago same scenario where the mighty Clippers were favs of 2.5 against the same NO squad who had beaten the LAC by an average of 17 points the 3 previous meeting in the same season... NO beat Clippers 108 - 100... I know it's hard to defeat one team in a season series, but NO had beaten the GS by an average of 7.5 points. 12/23/09 (NO 108 GS 102), 1/27/10 (GS 110 NO 123), 3/08/10 (NO 135 GS 131)... Granted they had covered 2 out 3 ATS... Beware!!!

I dont think Warriors can play their recent basketball for long , they still play no defense and rely on jump shoots too much and now everyone are picking them because they played 3 good games in a row ?

You didn't answer the question at all. Yes, every team shoots jump shots...some have better shooters. So your telling me you'd take West & 2 Rookies (Collison & Thornton) over the likes of Maggette, Curry, Ellis & Morrow?
I never said the Warriors were a good team, I said they've been playing better and own the better shooters. You wont win trying to argue this with me....and saying the Hornets are the superior team shows your ignorance. Especially considering the injuries that the Hornets have.
Ellis just threw out something like 3-23 shooting and they STILL almost beat the powerful Lakers...who actually play defense. Now they get to face New Orleans who plays very little. Its not going to be as easy as you seem it will be.

Honestly if it was like a fantasy league or something. I would take David West over any of those guys. Hornets are a bit short handed but they can crash the boards and play a little bit better D than the Warriors can. The Warriors would probably have to shoot upwards of 55% to win this game. It really comes down to the post game which the Hornets do have with Okafor and West, and the nonexistent one with the Warriors.
Also the Hornets play pretty good perimeter D - which tends to cause disruption beyond the arc for the other team.
Collison isn't the shooter Curry is - but he distributes the ball A LOT more. I'm pretty excited to see these two matchup.

*A bit short handed? No Paul, Posey or Peja. Which takes their 2 best perimeter shooters out of the game. Thats a bigger loss than you seem to think.
*As for crashing the boards, yes they rebound well...but not to the extent where it will be like the Lakers/Warriors game the other night...56-25 advantage to Lakers and ONLY won by 3pts. That's with 3 essential 7fters (Gasol, Bynum & Odum) Sorry, but Okafur & West are both undersized and are not CENTERS. West is a power forward who wants to shoot jumpers not post up...and Okafur gets his production from offensive rebounding.
*Good perimeter defense...sure...but its not an over whelming statistic in favor of New Orleans.
*As for Collison, the kid is racking up assist by the bunches because he plays 48mins per game. They know they can run him a full game...cause he wont see HUGE playing time when Paul comes back. So the assists in my mind are a bit padded.
*On another note, the 4pt win a little over 1 week ago...required nearly 5 Hornets players reaching 20pts...while having a HUGE rebounding advantage. Ellis didn't play in that game, and Peja & Posey combined for 20pts in that 4pts win. That's a lot of production to make-up when the players that will need to do it, basically reached their max potential in that same game.

God I could do this all day....lol. First I was on the Hornets ML the other night as well, because it was a good situational play with Gordon coming of the injury...not because the Hornets were the better team. Saying Thornton & Collison can drive is your first valid point, the only problem being that Ellis, Watson, Curry & Maggette are FAR SUPERIOR in that area of basketball.
