Will post thoughts later but these lines are on the move so posting it now for everyone.

Rockets are in a good spot here, everyone thinking there slumping but not so at all. They were the hottest team in the league a week ago then faced an angry thunder team off two embarrassing losses and a bulls team that got whacked at home by the spurs prior. Those were terrible spots for the rockets. However, they are now facing a heat team that will be out for blood. Rockets will be fine, after this game.

LC, I got the Heat at -4 and was considering the under as well here but was curious if the under is a system play or do you just figure this one to be a defensive battle between two desperate teams trying to get a win?

LC, you don't know how much of an influence ur play can sway a player like me, I got heat from another sharpie heavy, I see -5 and a good spot to play it i,, esp off the way rockets worked them last week.. I see public getting worked with zebras giving the heat the better end of the calls.. wasn't so sure about the heat.. now I'm ready to roll!! I'm hating bc heat are the home team.. I rarely play them..

I really thought you would select Miami as a 5x play.

Miami is 12-1 SU (with an average of +18.31 ppg) after a home loss since March 10, 2011.

The only loss was last game vs Denver. Every single game they won by at least 6 points.  And most of the games have been annihilation.

VGpop - I would never make a 5 unit play against a very good team off two losses. If rockets won last game it'd be a different story

Beginner boy and airrent: very strong systems favoring both unders today. Especially warriors blazers

we don't battle often but i think this Miami Heat team has some issues to work out. When LaBraun is not on the floor Miami looks old. I will fade them until i see a difference in this team. They have struggled against top tier teams all season...

Thanks for elaborating, HC. I tail some of your total plays but only when I see a psychological/motivational angle. It's hard for me to simply trust trends although I'm sure there are motivational/psychological reasons for them as well (even if we don't always know what they are). BTW, you got great numbers for the totals because they were gone as soon as you put them up! Best of luck today.

LC, Blazers without Aldridge plays a different kind of game. A faster one.  Almost all of their games without Aldridge they have scored over 100 points.  Would top scorer as a low post player being out accounted for the trend/?

What is your reasoning behind warriors/blazers under? For some reason Aldridge being out worries me.

That was such a bad call by the refs.  Houston had the ball and Hardin pushed Chalmers into whoever it was that had the ball.  Refs call defensive foul instead of offense and Houston gets 3 points out of the play.
