I don't post often but read a lot on here and i need some input on the hous/minn game today in the NBA.
Hous is -4 to -5 depends on where you look. Hous has lost 6 in a row, Minn has lost 5 in a row and is so depleted they are asking fans to suit up. (ok not really, but they are hurting for star players)
Why is this line only 4 to 5 points? Is it b/c Hous played last night, not playing well and traveling?
I just don't see how Houston doesn't win this game by 8 to 10 easily. Minn has no one to crash the boards, protect the paint, etc. I see Lin and Harden driving to the basket every possession to get their games back on track. Easy lay ups or 25+ free throw attempts for the them.
Houston is a descent team in a bad slump. All teams have bad slumps and this just seems like a great spot for them to bounce back and step up against a team limping onto the court.
What am I missing and why should I not make Houston a MAX play tonight? Thoughts from solid NBA cappers?
