have we had a first year coach taken their team to an NBA Final let alone win it? maybe there has been one but not for a good long while.. maybe since Pat Riley with Lakers?

sorry Raptors aren't going to the Finals this season just because of that... 

they are a year away. maybe they'll steal one from Boston and make one trip in the next 5 years. the Celtics are going to rule the East, they should have went last season instead we got a farce of an overplayed NBA Finals series

In terms of CPOE and PIPM, Kawhi grades out as better than derozan in literally every single category other than playmaking and one on one. Perimeter shooting, finishing, rebounding, perimeter / interior D, and  off ball movement kawhi grades into a higher percentile. 

Before you come in with some garbage take, at least provide some sort of reason or basis for it.

What did I miss? when did Annunoby get traded? I though tit was Poelti and DeRozan someone help me.

Anyways a lot of the Celtic love is coming from staright up bias, these teams are pretty evenly matched and the Raps imo have a slightly better bench, this idea that the Celts rule the east for the next five years a bit off. They have not dominated the Raps and I expect them to split the games this season. That being said lets enjoy the game and remember its only number 2 of a long season so regardless of the result, not much will be proven. Good luck to all tonight

When people say the DeRozan is equal to Leonard, they obviously have NO clue as to what they are talking about.  All you have to do is watch them play and it's crystal clear that Leonard is the all around better player and athlete

couldn't agree more. c's had injuries last year were short-handed and they were still able to make it all the way to the ECF...

they are deep in all positions except for maybe center but Baynes is a good backup. so the C's are fine.  

the raptors have improved with Kawhi and Green. Kawhi is better than Derozan no question. there's really no-one on the Raptors that scare me besides Kawhi. Raptors are still playoff chokers when all is said and done they'll need a few years with Kawhi and Green to shake the playoff bust image off.

Sorry DK but Van Vleet, Siakim, Ibaka, Anunoby, Miles is the best bench in the NBA.

Celtics are right behind Raptors in terms of overall depth, but TOR has a slight advantage in terms of sheer versatility.

This is highlighted by Nick Nurse's "new age" lineups..Ibaka finally at the '5' where he belongs...

You remember demar on the bench in the playoffs? When we needed him most he was M.I.A. At that moment ujiri made the decision he was going to move him. We got the better player to win in the playoffs.
