If you have to dig around the stat sheets and informational analysis in order to finalize your play, then you probably have no business wagering on the NBA.

Pre-game and Post-game press conferences are great resources to use to cap. Also on the NBA.com website, check the ten before tip blog before each game for last minute roster scratches, gameplans, etc.  The media notes each team in the Association uses can also be very helpful to understand how teams and players matchup.  The connections section always tends to be interesting because you can see who knows who and how.  The media notes are essentially 100+ page documents before they are edited for gameday.  There is a goldmine of information in there if you take the time to look.  

In my experience, capping the officiating crew is just as important as capping the teams.  Get to know these guy's patterns and tendencies and it will really help you out in the long run!

My strategies was to monitored all possible Cappers (most of them pretending to be best or good) here in this forum who place their pick or picks, after finding who were those "Worst and bad" or "Lucky" Capper's choice, I compare it with what I have analyzed the game.

You'll know where to bet and it works! Try it.

Just seeing this thread now. Great thread everyone. This is what the forum should be about, working together to make better decisions in betting the NBA.

I haven't been posting much this season. Actually stopped posting my picks since "the play of the day" thread got the boot. I went on strike lol.

Just in general.  Know their tendencies and what calls they like to whistle to most.  Know who they like, don't like etc. 

Tonight's refs favor SA.  Slightly favor Minny and Under.  J.  Phillips loves to call offensive and loose ball fouls.  Phillips also tossed Andre Iguodala for arguing with him in the Jazz game.  Goble doesn't take garbage from anybody either.
