This is a very poor idea... What happens if you lose, then your stuck 50k instead of 20.  Why not take 2 games for 10k each. hope u go 2 for 2 and ur even.  even if u split u only lose 1000. if you lose both you still have 10k left.

Don't be surprised if it is true.  I've done similarly idiot things.  While my bookie wouldn't take a $30k bet from me, I've been down $30k on the week and chased it with a few $2k-$5k parlays (2-4 teamers).  Shit like this happens to us degenerates.

I agree with the sentiment in that it's hard to win every day.  I'm just an action junkie like many of us here.  But with the insight of a lot of great handicappers in one place, you really can boost your odds.

If you're going to put that much on one game, don't do a parlay.  Pick a straight bet.  I suggest the Steelers + points.  But do what you think is best.

I've done double-or-nothing.  And I lost by ONE POINT...

West Virginia -2 over NC in a bowl game 3 (?) years ago

31-30 final, WVU won by 1.

Bad feeling.
