I might be biased being a Knicks fan but i just don't see this working. LeBron and Rose are both guys who need the ball in their hands to be at their best. Obviously the Bulls would take him but does LeBron really wanna go to a place where he would have to share the spotlight? On paper this would be by far the best backcourt tandem in the league but as far as chemstry issues go, I'm not so sure.

He gets money no matter where he goes. He wants to win.
What does New York offer? A shitty coach, a bad team, and a big city.
New Jersey-nothing
Chicago- a big city, a big name coach and a solid young nucleus
Imagine how good the Cavs would be if Mo Williams was better and if they had a reliable center. That is what the Bulls offer. Mo Williams is a homeless man's Derrick Rose. Rose does not shoot the 3 as well, but then again Mo shoots too many to begin with. Rose can create his own shot, he's faster, and has better vision. He doesn't run his mouth either. Lebron would have less pressure in Chicago because for the first time in his career he would not be the only person on the team able to score in a game.

Very possible but I also could see him playing in a more uptempo style as well with D'Antoni but i guess only time will tell
D'Antoni is a perfect fit for lebron...
I have always said since he started playing that they need to pair Lebron with finishers, not just outside shooters (williams, west)...
So think players like Marion and Amare who used to alley-oop dunk off of nash;s passing...
Like how tyson chandler would finish off of a pass from Chris Pau thrown at the basket...
so you look to push the ball and the defense then has to simply to let lebron score for commit to him on the play and have him throw it up for a dunk by a finisher...
But instead for years they have gone with ilgauskas who is a horrible and possibly the worst match for lebron...
to think that we saw ilgauskas and moon in key points in the game in a playoff game 6...
If the knicks go out and pick up some athletic players to surround him with (rather then slow players who need to walk the ball up slowly )
Think about a line up with Lebron, Chandler and Amare who are all free agents...
Then add in Matt Barnes and/or tony allen, another free agent and you have players on the floor that are naturally decent defenders... but all of those guys can also finish at the basket...
If you think about it, the formula for winning with lebron is to the exact opposite of what the cavs have done in terms of supporting cast, coaching and style of play...

Why would he care about sharing the spotlight? So he doesn't want another great player around him? Ridiculous. Besides, Rose isn't a spotlight guy anyway. Lebron needs a great PG that can run the floor. He gets that in Rose.

The Bulls would be ridiculous with LeBron. The nucleus of Rose, Noah, and James. Wow. Then probably James Johnson, I'd imagine Deng, Hinrich guys like that would probably be gone. Maybe even Taj Gibson, but damn that team would be a force. Even have a shot at signing another big free agent like Bosh. They would be a force.

Don't sell the Nets short here, especially if they get John Wall. This new owner is the wild card. He's a billionaire who is not afraid to spend gobs of money. I imagine that's enticing for Lebron. They're playing in Newark next year (which is a beautiful, new arena), and a new arena in Brooklyn soon after that.
That being said, I have no idea where he goes (and neither does anyone else).

The other thing about LeBron and speculation he is going to New York. Just don't see it. Why would he want to go somewhere were his supporting cast would be as bad or worse than his. In Chicago he has a team who made the playoffs. He's got a top 3 PG in the NBA. He's got one of the more underrated players in Noah. Some up and coming rookies. Chicago makes a lot of sense for him.

lebrons goal is to win a championship correct? not to just get there? last time i checked, it goes through the west/Lakers. and even if lebron goes to the bulls, noah is not a great center who can defend the lakers big men.

noah is a great center? compared to who? im not saying he's trash cause he hustles, but in the NBA to win championships, you need a dominating big men who can score. hell lebrons better off going to the clippers than chicago

Noah plays good defense is a good rebounder. Hustles. Just because he's not a great scorer. He will score when he needs too.

I agree...you need good players around you to win a championship and let's face it...he'll be the star no matter where he goes and no matter who he's playing with...for him to NOT want to share the spotlight ridiculous...he will NEVER win a championship if thats his attitude...Kobe learned and will always be better than Lebron for doing that

totally agree i will be shocked if he goes to NY and it would be a terrible move. The knicks would blow their load on 2 big time free agents and have nothing else to spend. Chicago + Lebron + a couple shooters are way better than the Cavs right now and that is what he is lookin for. If he goes east he will hit NJ for sure over NY especially if they get a good spot in the draft

James: I can't win in Cleveland I'm going to leave (Quit). Wait, I'm the King , I can't be viewed as a quitter, Everyone thinks I quit in game 5 and that I'm a sore loser. I'm good enough to get it done here, I can't leave (quit) on my town. I'm not a quitter, I will stay in Cleveland.

He gave up in game 6 aswell man, he couldnt wait to be doen with that series and get that jersey off. Marc Jackson was great with his comments after the game regarding the Cavs effort.
