Think it would be better to fade Memphis? MLK day has nothing to do with choosing the right side. These trends are so far off. My advice. Never follow trends with garbage teams.
Why? Do garbage teams cover spread less often than good teams?
No. Because that lousy memphis team is playing against a NO team that plays exceptionally well without Davis and Okafor stepping up on a few occasions. So thats the better angle to look at than injuries or some bs trend that has nothing to do with basketball whatsoever.
Moving on to Atlanta.
Atlanta just came off a loss in boston with one day of rest in between. To top it off they only scored 105 points. The chances of them coming home off a long road trip and averaging right around that same number in points are so GREAT in this spot that its idiotic to back them here because of a holiday trend. Get real. Atlanta doesn't even beat teams unless they score around 120+ and thats off the top of my head. And just to top that off Orlando wasnt even far from home salivating out the mouth for this opportunity.

Atlanta
vs Orlando 122-103L
@ boston 113-105 L
vs OKC 142-126W
vs Milwaukee 133-114L
@Philly 123-121W
@Brooklyn 116-100L
@Toronto 104-101L
Generally speaking what I am saying is that if you dont see Atlanta scoring 120 vs an opponent it's probably best to fade as most of their opponents will reach the number 120.
Atlanta -1.5 is basically a pick em. And with the travel situation, long commute, lack of scoring production Im just saying this is a horrible spot tk back them because of a holiday trend which has no implications in this game period. Not trying to bash. Just waiting on you to share this valuable information since you're the only one seeking to here my opinion.
