History- Just read your thread this morning. Im not here to judge you, I honestly wish you the best my friend. By reading your intro on this thread you have put yourself in some mental pain. Anyone that has lost a sizable amount of money gambling knows the feeling.
It doesn't seem like you are here for help or advice, sounds like you have a plan and are sticking to it. Again, I wish you nothing but luck. But, there a plenty of good people on covers that are here to help or give advice if you need it. I prefer to just give support. BOL to you

Good luck, and it's doable. Should play spurs today, free money. 15X isn't that hard but it gets intense with high amounts. I'd throw 50$ for a 8 team parlay and yeah it hits half the time but I wouldn't throw 500 in an 8 teamer, you know? I can turn 50 to 4000 but not 4000 to 100,000 cause the amounts alone scare me. I wish you best of luck!

Minnesota-nice - Thanks for the support. Yes, I have a plan and I'm gonna stick to it, I had lots of thoughts about and my decision was final. You become empty that your thoughts seem clearer.
Lost last play.
Next play is Ivory Coast to win (@1.47) 1700$ to win 800$.
Day 3, Current Status: 2-3 for +-0$

Important thing here for the sake of my thread. That's true that 500 is a lot for a parlay, but is it a lot for Bill Gates to throw on a parlay? I for example used to have tough times to when I won and then bet hard because I was scared for my money. Then it stabled, and as you see - the 1000$ amount is very basic for me.

As I said earlier, I can go very deep and I have no more fear doing so as I believe I'm gonna do this - even if the start it tough (2 losses in a row is enough to put you in what some might say is a scary minus$).
This is just a heads up for honesty sake for myself - no one has to reply - I'm handling myself in the way I think will help me - and that is to be transparent in public with what I do. That still doesn't mean I have to give my report in mail to everyone, but if I want to cure my thing, I have to do what I promised, and transparency in public is the way for me doing so.
Current Status:
NBA: 2-3 for +-0$
Soccer: 0-1 for -1700$
Total: 2-4 for -1700$

I'm gonna put an avatar in my user later so I can find my own messages quickly. Didn't plan to do this as I think this indicates I'm here for having fun or discuss with other cappers about games or something, but this will help me follow my own messages.

TreyInventor & tommyhull - Thanks. I promised myself I will not explain my picks as part of what I'm doing here, but, and you might call me too emotional, I really hate ignoring someone who truly tries to give me an advice in order to help me, and you 2 seem to do it for real.
So my short explanation will be that the total seems too high in my eyes exactly because I think the Heat are poor offensively and I think 194 total would fit here better. With no NFL and only 2 games tonight, I think someone wants action on the under, and everyone on the forum here is on the over.
This will be my last explanation for a pick, because those explanations can bring the haters who calculate in other ways and think different thoughts.

This is not a typo. I BET OVER in this one because everything indicates (IMO only) that this number is too high for this game. That means that I smell something not right, because the total should have been lower, obviously. I might be wrong, but Miami has been a solid under, so why the high number. I'm trying the over because no one else dare. Plus, if you go thread by thread, everyone here shouting under in this game. So either everyone wins, or I win (in this one).
Might sound stupid, but losing 300k is even more stupid.

Oddsmakers are predicting the score to be somewhere around
OKC - 103 Miami - 96
I'd be a bit surprised if Miami scored 96 but we'll see.
I bet the under 200 myself and 1h under 104. Good luck to you in your quest to win back all your money.
I used to bet big back in the day as well and lost a very tidy sum in my lifetime...probably around $60,000. So I feel your pain and hope at some point you give up trying to win it all back and just refocus your life on scaling back the betting in a big way and spending your time trying to build your wealth through productive investments instead of whittling it all away. I was where you were, nothing to show but big credit card bills thanks to bad sports betting. I decided enough was enough and just focused on paying off the debt as quick as possible and then start investing as much money as I could into real estate and stocks. I'm glad I did!

I have a somewhat similar story. Gambling was in my family so I was the kid in 5th grade running pools in school. High school taking action etc etc.
So I was ahead of the curve by the time I was 21, but I was a brash wild gambler with my money. Didn't matter if I was 6-1 on an NFL Sunday, because I was the guy who put 100 on the 6 winners and my pick of year 4pm game was a 500 dollar bet. I chased all the time. Was an action junkie playing sports I wasn't good at. Etc etc
One week in 2001, I lost my mind and kept betting and betting and betting. I vaguely remember it started on MNF and the packers/Jax started the run. Don't remember the details, but I vaguely remember the packers up like 21-0 and 4th quarter they collapsed.
Anyway that set off a chain of events that led to me having something like 2k on the raptors -2.5 over the Bucks. Bucks up 20 whole game. Raptors make this furious run to take a lead under a minute. 4 point game Vince carter steals the ball with like 10 seconds. All alone on a breakaway and he tried a super, jump from the FT line, windmill super dunk instead of a layup, 6 point lead, and game over. Dunk attempt hit the back rim, popped 60 feet into the air, and into Glenn Robinsons hands who drained a 35 footer at the buzzer. Raptors win by 1.
Anyway that led to a football weekebd of wildness where at 10pm I was down a huge amount of money and I went double or nothing on a girls 1st west coast college game -.5 points. I was calling 1-800 TELL ME every 20 seconds for updates and watching ESPN ticker. My team was up 3 with 2 seconds. Kept calling. Kept calling. Then I see the tivker on ESPN go from 32-29 to 32-32 and halftime.
Long story short, I was dead and done. My dad had to bail me out. It took me 2 full years of paying him 50/100 a week to pay him back in full and that entire time I didn't make a bet.....but I kept these notebooks and I studied like a maniac. Every sport, every possible way of wagering, every system I could come up with. 2-3 years of it until I paid my debt, and then I dipped my toes into betting for real again. Took a couple years, but I figured out my sweet spot sports(NFL, MLB) and cut out sports I didn't have an edge on(all college, NBA).
Became disciplined, came up with bankrolls per season. Learned to keep a cigar box under my bed with my bank so I stopped falling into the "win 500 bucks, take my girl out, buy some DVDS and PS2 games, then lose 200 bucks the next week and instead of being up, I felt like I was down" cycle I always had.
Decade later, I won what I lost in 2001 10x over.
So hang in there man. Stay under control. Stay disciplined. Have a plan. And then chip away.

GL getting some of that back.
