And is out for atleast the first 2 rounds. Just to show how stupid the coach is for playing his starters full min when the games don't mean anything for them. Makes no sense you could be giving your bench players valuable min to get ready for playoffs and instead your running your stars all night instead of limiting their min to show what? You already have the best team in the nba. Are you asking for players to get hurt?

POR is a good team, #4 in the west, it's a good test for GS

they want to go into the playoffs with some momentum, not lose a bunch of games at the end of the regular season, they already lost 2 in a row...

You got it. That line was way too high even for portland. That line would be for Pacers to be honest. I'm sure people thought -10 wow no way dubs would get that considering how they played the last 2 games.

yeah i mean i don't hope he gets hurt because i like watching him play, but it doesn't seem to make sense to put your players at risk unnecessarily when the games are meaningless.

if someone does get hurt and is out for the season, how exactly do you explain that if you're steve kerr? i understand the rest vs. rust debate but the warriors locked up the top seed with over two weeks left in the season, so i don't see why he wouldn't sit his main guys or at least reduce their minutes for say a week and then bring them back the last few days to get back in a rhythm.

but kerr has been playing his guys in meaningless situations all year, up 18 with 2 minutes left etc. but obviously he is doing something right the way his team looks so i guess you can't really knock him at this point.

Kerr played for the greatest coaches and teams. He was cut from the same cloth as them. Let the man do what he will need to do and that's win. All you haters will witness the greatness of the Golden State Warriors when they win the title.

They had lost their last two games and you want him to rest the starters to increase the possibility of losing 3 in row? Makes sense, Going into the play offs losing as many games as possible is great for morale and momentum I heard.

I don't hope he gets hurt but this makes me wanna see Okc or New Orleans knock em out first round (won't happen I know). I haven't bet for or against them same with Atlanta because I don't know if or when they'll rest players but I don't really understand why you don't atleast sit them a couple games here and there down the stretch. Put it this way... Lebron will rest in the final games because they have the 2 seed locked up and his eyes are set on a championship not a few more regular season wins. Pop would do the same if the Spurs had a spot secured because he too cares about the ultimate goal. Not saying itll hurt Golden State but no point in taking a risk of injury on meaningless games. Just my opinion.

Why would you want them to get beat by the dog t-urd Pelicans or Thunder? So you'd rather watch the Pelicans or Thunder v the Rockets/Spurs than get a marquee Warriors v Rockets/Spurs match up?

If you're talking about from an NBA perspective yea go ahead and rest them. I would agree, but as a gambler you guys would have an adjusted spread so why whine if they are gonna rest them or not. If they are gonna rest them and then they are not going to play. spread + 7 blazers.

You would think that kerr didnt do a horrible job as a GM with his rep here lol...

If anybody had his background as a failed gm and than took over a team off back to back 50 win seasoks most would want him to prove it in the playoffs.

It's like keeping your star in when you're up 20 with 4 minutes left. I wouldn't wish anything bad on a player health wise but it kinda makes you wanna see them lose because of it. Plus I can't see this team winning the title so I don't care when they lose. I'll be shocked if Cleveland, San Antonio, or Memphis doesn't win.

In the East the only two teams that have a shot are Cleveland and Atlanta. It may even be a stretch to say Atlanta when they don't have a superstar to take over a game. Chicago year after year can't get it done and Toronto and Washington just aren't there yet.

In the West Houston and GS rely way too much on perimeter shots. Portland doesn't have a bench and lost Mathews. I thought Dallas had a great shot but not after seeing them lately. Okc can't win with one player. And I really want to include the clips but they never seem to get it done (similar to Chicago). Memphis has the size and is tough defensively. The Spurs are comin in hot as usual and have veteran experience. (Trust me I can't wait for this spurs team to decline but I don't see it happening at least not this season)
