In a deep deep depression!!

So this weekend on Sunday to be exact is my birthday I turn 28 years old on this day I am very  upset and depressed lately took a very big beating this week and things just aren't the same seems like no matter who I decide to pick something always goes wrong somewhere in the bed whether it be towards the end somewhere in the middle or free throws etc. I guess this is a lash out for help a cry out in pain I am just expressing myself on covers because frankly I don't know what else to do or say! I owe my bookie over $10k since beginning of last week and thought I'd make enough to dig myself out the hole but yea so much for that I'm in times two now! There will be no bday celebration this year in my behalf as I Dnt care for it I'm just too upset too down down on my luck down on everything! I Dnt want the bday wishes I Dnt even have enough energy or mindset to take my fiancé out for dinner on Sunday! She planned this whole extravagant weekend in Atlantic City for the two of us but I'm just not up for it I have no reason to go I'm just too upset and two down and nobody understands anyways not sure why I even decided to write this but I did so hey is what it is I guess!!! I've thought about it but I feel as I'm in too deep!! My normal day consists of running my business then taking all the profits and dumping it on some stupid sports bets seriously used to be different I actually used to enjoy this now it's almost as if it's become party of my life my daily regime and I want out! I just can't fathom how much I've lost over the last few years over 5 million to be exact and that's on my mothers life between sports betting and casino baccarat I'm sick to my somach im not supposed to be where I'm at in life today it's not supposed to be this hard but yet it is and I have no one to blame for this but myself I'm an adult and I take full responsibility for my actions not denying that one bit just saying I deserve everything I get no one else to blame but this jerkofff right here posting this thread me the 28 yrs old gambler degenerated junkie

I never have fun anymore I have a beautiful model girlfriend that's deeply in love with me and knows nothing about my addiction! I can talk to her about anything that's the type of relationship we have but something like this just seems way out of the quesion! I feel ashamed I feel guilty to tell her bout it now after she's invested the last 5 months of her life into me it's not fair that I didn't let her know this prior to us commiting to eachother seems greedy on my behalf but no in truly knows what I to thru personally on a day to day bases!sometimes I win 5 10 grand in a night and it's never enough I personally don't even know what I want out of gambling anymore I'm sad when I win and even sadder when I lose just a vicious cycle that's never enough! I regret the day I made my first bet because this has really it ahold of me bigtime I'm ashamed bigtime! I can't even have a normal dinner with my girlfriend one minute I'm happy when I'm winning a bet then few mins later I lose and I'm a total wreck completely mess/depression bucket seriously! She probably thinks I'm bipolar and I totally don't blame her but that isn't the case! Well I've lost hundreds and thousands to this bookie over the past ya so as far as kicking in my door I doubt that's where he's going with this it's just the fact I know I owe him and need to pay him as a man period! I know from many past experiences with this guy that if I won 10 20 even 30 grand from him there would have been an envelope waiting for me at his office with the cash in it so as a man I'm ashamed that I Dnt have his money at this very moment just feel like less of a man! I was up 15k didn't cash a penny of it out even tho I had multiple opportunities to do so I just kept playing and gambling lost it all plus dug myself a nice deep hole! I have a very successful business but lately IVe been playing with th profits and all the money that my family and partner thinks I have is rly not there...AT ALL!!!! I am so ashamed of myself I Dnt even know how I'm bringing myself to type this but somehow I am because it's all I've got I go nobody else to speak with or vent to and it's killing me cuz nobody understand just feel so alone at this very moment sorry for writing all this and putting u all down

I did pound the kc last nite for 5k pennies compared to ho much I was down the prior week plus I lost a few straight bets and all my parlays! I laid almost 3600 alone on the Portland game jus to win 2k so that kc bet didn't even break me even from there! I used to be able to handle my losses like no big deal but maybe cuz.l my bday is a few days away I been reevaluating my life lately and I'm just. Not happy not where I wanna be! This gambling desease has taken away my emotions as a human being made me numb to taking losses and made pretty much thousands of dollars seem like pennies to me in a sick way!  Thank you everybody I appreciate the warm wishes and good advice and I guess everybody has their good days and bad days and this just seems to be one of my really really really bad ones I'm sure every gambler has been In this spot  at some point in their life and you're right it is up to me to make the right decisions from here on to live a happy healthy life money is not everything but not having money is !  Yes I know  doesn't really make sense but to me it does I could win a bet for 10 grand and wouldn't buy myself a pair of shoes go figure but be quick to put 10,000 on the team and lose and sleep like a baby at night sometimes I guess I need to reevaluate my priorities and figure out what it is I'm doing here God has blessed me in so many ways my fiancé my family my business is just something deep down inside that is bothering me and I'm not sure what it really is probably a little bit of everything but I really do appreciate you guys writing these replies they mean a lot to me believe it or not

I myself am an addicted gambler. In my younger days, when I was making a ton of money working, it was nothing for me to lose 3k one week only to lose 3k the next week after a failed Monday night bail out.

I gamble every day, but now I always gamble small. My typical bet reflects just .00007% of my net worth (yes, I did the math). It doesn't matter if I win or lose, yet I still gamble every day.
