Yeah. I lost $100 Bucks in a pool where I had the Clippers meeting the Bucks. Nothing to cry about, but as a fan of the sport for 30 years, what I’m seeing makes me sad. Tell me I’m wrong. My commentary is in part ironic. I mean very much to evoke the fall of Rome; seems apt, doesn’t it!? We are so removed (due to economics, technology, political correctness) from the kind of life humans were living just a century ago that the only way we can feel anything anymore is through the various entertainment outlets we have, whether that be pro football, films, or violent video games (just pick one). Unlike you, most of us don’t have access to some “fight club” (though I did play high school football and saw many friends carted off the field) so we can feel what it is like to be in the throes of a life and death situation. But if things continue to go in the direction they are heading in this country, we just might.
