Memphis is a huge favorite over Orlando tonight. -1800 on the money line.
But if you take Memphis wire to wire you could get them at -200.
Curious if anyone does these bets and if so have they been successful?

I think it's a stupid bet for stupid people. Very easy to lose in the opening minutes. 0-2, 2-4, etc. Maybe try a 1H/FG wager.

Wire to wire in basketball at -200 yeah you'll definitely get rich doing that homie.
On an unrelated note I was thinking of using 100 dollar bills to light my cigars has anyone had any success doing this?
If you took this bet in the Memphis game you would probably be delighted when they started off 10-3 and then go up 19-10. They're currently up 23. So wire to wire must be good, right?
Wrong. Orlando actually took a 29-28 lead on mo Wagner 3 late in the 1st Q. And the majority of bets will lose, totally dead money, gone, no chance, in the first. I much prefer for my bets to not be officially dead until the clock says triple zero

I've done it. Not as cool as it sounds. I will say that when faced with using a bill to knock down a rail, I always opt for a C-note. Prefer a straw over all though.

see post #5...Orlando led 29-28.

Is wire to wire meaning leading at the end of each quarter or is it they cannot be down at any point in the game? Never heard of this prop so I assume most people don't know

@davemsh
Honestly doesn't seem like a bad bet when you have a matchup like Memphis vs Orlando.
As long as your team is leading after the 1st you should be good.

You clearly don’t understand how the bet works. This is why Sportsbooks clean up on the misinformed.
Wire to Wire generally looks at lead changes at the end of every quarter. That translates to SEVEN different ways to win. If there is a tie at the end of ANY quarter, the bet wins!
If the Knicks are ahead at the end of the first quarter versus Boston, then Boston needs to be leading at the END of the any of the other three quarters (including the 4th which means winning the game).
This is a bet best made against evenly matched teams; especially the semi finals and finals in conference play. Teams play harder than game 15 of the regular season, and there’s less of a chance star players are out for “rest protocols.”
THIS IS MY GO TO BET IN THE NBA PLAYOFFS
