Okay, everyone's on the lakers, this new dominating juggernaut the lakers who have hardly been blowing any one out of late (except the 14 point win of the c's after the all-star break).  but dwight throws orlando under the bus in many way, the last of which was his latest interview.   That stadium will be up for the game.  I hope the line is nine by the time I play it.  I had orlando against indiana and got whipped, my worst whipping in the past two weeks.  and i may chicken out.  need your thoughts, guys.   help me think this through.

I was on the same mindset. Orlando wants this one maybe more than any other game this year. Lakers are putting a lot of wins together though, so I am at a stalemate here.

it's already +8 on my book.  i'm waiting overnight and studying.  nash and blake didn't play in orlando's december upset at LA as a 13 point dog winning by 10.  affalo had 30.  al buckets is off the bench now.

Lakers will win and cover. They are tied with Utah in the 8th spot. Dwight wants this game and so do the Lakers. Magic already defeated them and got their anger out.

i may lay off.  woke up with atlanta fever.  plus line isn't moving up.  lakers won't blow them out, though.

I don't know, I remember alot of people feeling the same way when Lebron returned to Cleveland for the first time. Line was similar (8 or 9, I believe). Cavs held tight for about 1 quarter, and then that was it. Blowout.

whos gonna stop dwight on the boards? Howard looking at a 16 and 22 night again. whos gonna stop kobe? artest is gonna d them up clark and meeks have been playing well as of late. nash is gonna break down the defense.

What about vucevic? He's been crazy on the boards. Dwight is soft, but he might be good tonight as it's a very important game for him. 8 points on the road is a lot to cover, and Magic are bad but not that bad since Nelson got back to the line-up. I really don't know what to choose on this one.

Lakers. Magic only have 2 players from the original team when Howard was playing (Davis and Nelson) and Davis isn't even playing.

Lakers need this game bad to stay in playoff contention, Magic not so much.

+1  I don't understand why Magic would care so much when most of them never played with Dwight.

BECAUSE OF HOWARD MOST OF THE TEAM WAS TRADED AS AFTERTHOUGHTS AND PIECES IN THE BYNUM/HOWARD/IGOUDALA DEAL.  plus, howard threw jameer and david, who's with the team, under the bus.  i laid off cause i like cleveland (call me weird).  washington has dropped five of six against the spread after the oddsmakers adjusted the lines and overinflated them.  clevleand has played well without kyrie.  but if i had balls i'd be all over atlanta.   i hated that orlando got thumped by indiana.  but indiana's way better than the lakers. lakers are overhyped.  BEWARD LAKER BACKERS and of course good luck.

If Jameer is a true leader and has the locker room on the same page, they SHOULD rally for their PG at home even though they were directly involved in the ORL trade.

I dont think it will factor in too much though. LAL is the better team on the hunt. 

The line has been bet all the way up to 8.5 and then you have to ask yourself. IND is a better team than LAL and they were 9 pt favs in ORL and they smashed. Does LAL deserve to be in the same spread? They shouldnt be and they didnt start out that way but this game is pivotal to LAL and bettors know it.

So true, was thinking the same thing. So now it becomes do the Lakers rally for D12 or do the Magic rally for Jameer, and I've learned my lesson about betting the lakers because of games they need. If they won games they needed, they wouldn't be in this position right now. Not long ago the Lakers needed a game on the road vs the Bulls minus Luel Deng and they garbage the bed.

Howard's comments meant nothing to the current players. Only Jameer Nelson is his ex-teammate. The other players won't care.

I'm on the Magic..   Howard's an idiot for throwing his ex teammates under the bus.      Vucevic is a solid center.   should be a close game.

orlando is the way. im a huge laker fan but what makes anyone think the lakers should be layin 9 to anyone on the road especially for a game u know u will get max effort from magic. even tho magic got rid of their players they know the history.  lets see who the lakers beat. they needed two of the greatest performances we have seen in a while from kobe to get by the hornets and raptors and beat a pathetic team in bulls that just cant score.  i will take my chances that lakers wont cover 9 on road.  i will b on magic ml small as wekll
