Hmm.......gotta think that one over.  Right now it's hard for me to see the Heat winning another game.  Sunday's outburst in Game 2 is feeling like Miami's last hurrah.  But, I was all wet about Game 2, so I'll reserve the right to mull this over until I come up with the answer.

I can't even look at myself in the mirror knowing I bought those three worthless tickets last Thursday afternoon on the gasping and wheezing Heatles.  That's one of the bigger betting gaffes I've ever committed.  I bent over backwards last night to make up for it, but I think two more enormous wagers on the Spurs are needed to reach a point where I can begin to forgive and forget.

The Rays!  I went with the 1st 5 innings so I could get +115 since I couldn't get that price for the full game.  It's so smugly satisfying to bet against Jon Lester and his trash Red Sox teammates and win.

Good call.  Seriously, though......sports bettors have to stop doing this.  When you are presented with a team that has established a consistent pattern of dominance in a particular situation, you shouldn't try to diminish their accomplishments by suggesting that their opponents were largely inferior.  They still kicked their fools, didn't they?  What more are they supposed to do?  And consider this - the Spurs don't go all out against weakling teams, yet they still blow them out on a regular basis.  That's pretty impressive in itself.  Imagine what the Spurs would do to the Kings or Bobcats if they were possessed to play as hard as they did last night?  What would the final score be?  135-72, something like that?

Yessir! I played them first 5 and game along with Indians first 5 and game.  Unfortunately the late night diamond swing wasnt as nice as I whiffed with Mariners and Braves 1st 5 and game.  O well, still a big night with the spurs 1h and game cementing it.  Now on to game 4 where right now I cant see anything but a Spurs win, that is of course if Parker's hamstring is not seriously injured.

game 4 will be interesting.  Heat have been money after a loss.  Does that continue?  Spurs looked awesome yesterday.

hopefully parker's injury isn't serious.

OK MR B...SO WITH THAT SAID THE BASED ON THAT YOU WOULD THINK THE HEAT ARE THE PLAY, BUT YET YOU SEEM TO LEANING TOWARD THE SPURS...I MYSELF THINK SA WINS GAME 4, THE HEAT HAVE BEEN MONEY IN THIS SITUATION SINCE JAN..DOES IT END THUR

i am surprised as well...all good man happens to the best of us more important to take a step back, take a look at the macro-betting picture, learn from your mistakes and minimize the chance of making them in the future.

God or not, the "man" started a post at 8pm yesterday and it got over 10k views and 7 pages of replies. People definitely acknowledge his opinion/ perspective. I'm not saying he's always right, but when he makes a thread to inform you of some sh!t you should probably listen, not follow blindly, but consider it good insight.
