Took some time off from betting the NBA and just watched games. This year just like every year brings those surprise teams that continue to roll. The Hawks and Warriors have been cash cows this year going a combined 67-32 ATS. As I sat back and observed all these games there was one common theme I found, motivation factor. This is huge folks. It is difficult to really gauge a whole team (or even star players) mindset for 82 games. I had a really good read on the Cavs for majority of the season, but once GM Lebron added the 7 footer, JR Smith and Iman I haven't been able to cap them at all. Same thing with the Thunder and Lakers. Those are usually my go to teams. I know this is a rant but bare with me.
Today, I see a game that really stands out. The Hawks @ Grizzlies. We have two teams that are very solid ball clubs. One team (Hawks) spread you out and utilize the whole floor for spacing, while the other team (Grizzlies) pound you inside with big bodies and rely on defense and rebounding. The Hawks just played the Warriors and they had the game circled for weeks. Majority of the public and respected cappers on here took the Warriors bait. The problem is they faded the Hawks a game too soon. This is a perfect scenario IMO to take the Grizzlies. They are at home where they've won their last 10 of 11, they just lost to the horrific T'Wolves (Up 7 with 1:47 to go) on Friday, and the public remembers that Warriors W and Grizzlies bad loss because it's still fresh in their minds. Bench production and those 3 pointers tend to tip when you go on the road against a defensive minded ball club.

Thanks Westside....Took a little break from the NBA and focused on the NFL. Had a Pats ticket at +750 for 3 units to win it all at the Wynn. I hedged 1k on the Seahawks and just enjoyed a great game. BOL to you this season

As long as the bench doesn't hit 7-8 from downtown and the Hawks don't get 37 free throws, you should be fine:)
Haha! 37 free throws won't happen but I wouldn't put it past the bench. This team has been doubted all year. And surprisingly the own the West as a whole, but I feel this is the game they trip up and score below 90. Either way I look forward to more post and angles from you BB.

I like Memphis as well. This team is a legitimate championship contender. I could argue the Grizzlies are the toughest possible playoff matchup for the Warriors, Spurs, Clips and OKC. No one wants to play Memphis.

If Altlanta gets even 24 Fts tonight, I'll eat my keyboard. I think the refs will get Memphis some decent home cooking tonight and will have a very decisive edge in FTs as well as points in the paint. Atlanta will hit their fair share of 3 pointers though, no getting around that.
Memphis is my play as well. Let's get it tonight!!
